Had such a fun day out with our residents at the Hollywood Bowl today! 🎳 It was fantastic to see everyone having such a blast and enjoying some friendly competition. The strikes and spares were flying, and there were plenty of laughs all around. We’re already planning our next outing, but this one was definitely a winner! Health Care Assistant (HCA)

We are looking for caring and reliable Health Care Assistants to join our friendly team.

Positions available:

44 hours per week – Days

33 hours per week – Nights

Role includes:

Providing personal care and daily support

Promoting dignity and independence

Working as part of a supportive care team

Experience preferred but not essential – full training provided.

No Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS) available.

Hours: 37 hours per week, including some weekends

Poplars Care Centre in Maidstone is looking for a creative and compassionate Activity Coordinator to join our friendly team. You will be responsible for planning and delivering a varied programme of activities and events that promote wellbeing, independence, and enjoyment for our residents.
Key responsibilities:
• Organise group and one-to-one activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities
• Plan special events, outings, and cultural celebrations
• Encourage participation and build strong relationships with residents and families
• Work closely with the care team to support person-centred care
About you:
You will be enthusiastic, caring, and full of ideas, with great communication skills and a passion for making a difference. Experience in a similar role or care setting is an advantage, but not essential — full training will be provided.
