It affects memory, reasoning and daily life over time ā€” but dementia and Alzheimerā€™s arenā€™t the same thing. Dementia is the umbrella term, while Alzheimerā€™s is one type within it.

šŸ§  Common early signs include forgetfulness, confusion, mood changes and difficulty with familiar tasks.
