UPDATE: Please note our Vaccination Champion Clinic tomorrow is to discuss possible vaccines that your child is eligible for, it is NOT a Vaccination clinic. We are providing an opportunity for people who are unsure whether to be vaccinated to ask questions and then we will book you in on another day.

At the moment we are not able to offer the MENB vaccine to anyone other than those eligible, ie born after 2015 and in the correct age cohort (please see previous posts for specifics).

18/03/2026

Just a reminder that we are holding an open morning tomorrow at our Linton surgery for any patients who would like to discuss vaccines. Our nurses will be available to answer any questions.

Thursday 19th March 26, 9:30 am - 2pm, for all Greensand registered patients.

If you’re unsure about whether to vaccinate yourself or your child, this is a great opportunity to get up to date and ask any questions you may have.

Protect early. Protect fully. Protect now. Stay Strong. Get Vaccinated

👉 “Don’t wait for an outbreak to protect your child.”

Following the recent outbreak in Canterbury, we want to remind parents how important it is to keep children up to date with ALL their routine vaccinations.

Vaccination protects your child before they are exposed—waiting until an outbreak can leave them vulnerable.

We are now offering additional appointments for all childhood vaccinations, including catch-up doses if your child has missed any.

If you’re unsure whether your child is fully vaccinated, please get in touch—we’re here to help. Please submit an Anima request.

Protect early. Protect fully. Protect now.

Meningitis Vaccination News:

If you are concerned about the meningitis vaccination following the recent news. You can access your immunisation status on your NHS App. If you have a confirmed vaccination of Meningitis ACWY , this gives good protection against these strains. There are other meningococcal disease strains so you should be vigilant of any potential symptoms.

The Meningitis ACWY vaccination is a one off vaccination and does not require a booster vaccination.
