**Important notice**
New way to request appointments – starting Thursday 18th September 2025

We’re making it easier for you to request appointments and other healthcare help. From Thursday 18th September 2025, we’ll be using a new system called Anima, which will be completely replacing the way patients can access the surgery for booking appointments.

Anima seamlessly and confidentially integrates with your medical record bringing improvements to how you request appointments and how our staff assess your condition.

Anima allows our team to continue to improve access times by helping us to direct you to the most appropriate care for your medical needs. This ensures we make use of our limited resources in the most safe and efficient way.

All clinical Anima submissions will be assessed by a clinician who will advise the care navigating team which appointment or advice to be offered according to clinical urgency and need. By using this triage system, it means that patients will be managed more equitably and effectively, connecting our patients efficiently to the right person for the right service.

For patients who struggle with computer access or literacy, please be reassured you can still call the surgery on 01622 754898 where one of our care navigating team will be able to assist you.

''Important Notice: Transition to New Online Appointment System (Replacing E-consult)
We wish to inform our patients that, effective 13th August 2025, our current online appointment platform, eConsult, will be replaced by a new system called Anima.
While the process for submitting appointment requests will remain essentially the same, the software interface will be updated. Patients will have the option to create an account with Anima, which we recommend to facilitate a smoother and more efficient experience when making future requests.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this transition. Should you have any questions or require assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.''

Our Story

The practice has been established since 1954 and it's ethos is rooted in the Christian tradition. As a consequence, the current partnership recognises the importance of holistic health care and seeks to address the needs of individuals in physical, psychological, social and spiritual terms, whilst respecting equality and diversity. The practice is an active participant in the West Kent Clinical Commissioning Group, whose role is to ensure the optimal provision of patient services in the district. The partners have an active interest in medical education and believe this to have an important influence on continuing development and good practice at every level.
