We wanted to make our patients aware of a new resource from NHS Kent and Medway that may be helpful for when patients needing to visit an urgent treatment centre (UTC).

A new web page is now available which shows live waiting times for urgent treatment centres across the county. This can be accessed here:

www.kmhealthandcare.uk/urgent-care

This replaces any previous WaitLess application you may already have.

Urgent treatment centres offer care for injuries and illnesses that are urgent but not life-threatening.

A message for all of our patients:

You may notice a test result appear in your NHS app referring to patient need groups or risk stratification. This is a simple way in which we categorise patients based on their specific health needs. It helps us as a practice to understand the individual needs of our patients based on their health and wellbeing to support personalised care and ensures you get the right support in a timely way. No action is needed from you.
