Today’s service was a bit different and every funeral directors nightmare at the beginning I imagine. So arriving too early at the crematorium is not an option so we pulled off the road for 10minutes and then started Hearse ready to go. I say started, it would not start again. Panic is not the word. In contacting the crematorium the Son came to us and towed us the last half mile into crematorium saving the day.
During the service we learned that the Gentleman had himself experienced his car breaking down a few times on his way to France and loved to tell stories. So Sir I am happy now that we were lucky enough to be honoured by giving your final story for you . Although also a bit embarrassed.
Rest in Peace with the Angels Sir.
