Over the years, I’ve been gently weaving the rhythm of the seasons into my yoga classes. What began as two separate passions yoga and the natural world has slowly evolved into one. This is not about perfect poses or “being good at yoga,” but about reconnecting with the body and the world around us, both indoors and out.
Join me for this seasonally inspired day as we gently awaken the spine and invite a sense of renewal into the body, preparing ourselves for the energy of growth that spring brings.
We’ll step into the woodland for a forest bathing experience a slow, guided practice of being present in nature through the senses. There’s no distance to cover and nothing to achieve; simply time to move gently, breathe deeply, and allow the nervous system to settle.
We’ll also explore the gentle principles of Western herbal medicine, foraging a small selection of spring greens to add to our food and herbal teas. For some, this may be a first, soft introduction to wild food foraging.
Thank you to What's On In Kent and Nick McGowan for all your support.
This Spring Equinox day experience is based at the beautiful Seekers Trust in Kent is an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and welcome the awakening energy of spring. Rooted in the seasonal theme of Ostara, the day gently explores balance, renewal, and new beginnings.
