Happy Sunday Everyone 🌞

So, here's what's on my mind today... you know when your clothes still fit…but they just don’t feel as GOOD anymore?

Like nothing quite sits right ( you know...the trousers that are fine as long as you're standing the whole time you're wearing them!)

So you end you end up wearing the same few things on repeat 😩 yeah… that’s where I’m at right now! 👖👕👖👕👖👕

And I know I’m not the only one....am I?

I used to think I needed a full hour at least to do a decent work out…

Which is probably why I didn’t do anything most of the time 😅

These days it’s more like…

“What can I realistically fit in between everything else going on?”

And would you believe it, it turns out 20 minutes and actually doing it beats planning a perfect hour and doing nothing 🙃

When all is said and done, any movement is better than no movement. 🏃‍♀️🤸‍♀️🚴

Thought for the day....

Why is it so easy to drink 5 cups of tea a day… ☕....but remembering to drink water feels like a full-time job?! 😅

I swear I get to 3pm and realise I’ve had about half a glass 🙃

Working on that this week… slowly but surely

I've tried water reminder alarms on my phone and I just snoozed them so now I have my water bottle in the kitchen and every time I go through or into the kitchen (which is A LOT) I have some water!

Happy Hump Day!

So...part of the reason I’m actually taking this seriously again now is because things have changed a bit for me

I’m very much embracing (and occasionally rocking)' that perimenopause stage…
which honestly explains a lot 😅 It's a bit like starting a new job isn’t it... soooo much to learn and sometimes it's different on different days!! Shame I can’t get a promotion or hand in my notice on it though! 🤣🤣

Plus, I was also diagnosed with bronchiectasis last year, which basically means I need to be a bit more mindful about my lung health and overall wellbeing

Nothing dramatic… but enough to make me realise I can’t just “wing it” anymore so this isn’t about being perfect or extreme, it’s just about actually looking after myself properly again

Anyone else feel like their body’s started making its own rules lately? 🙃

How is it physically possible…

for kids to take 20 minutes to put their shoes on…

but the SECOND you say “we’re late”
they suddenly move like Olympic sprinters?! 😅

I often feel that school mornings in this house are absolute chaos

Hey everyone, time for a bit of honesty....

I’ve been a bit quiet on here for the past few months.

Not because I’ve had nothing to say….

but because I’ve slipped back into that “tired mum just getting through the day” mode 😅

You know the one....

☕ running on tea or coffee
🍪 grabbing biscuits instead of actual food
😴 constantly feeling tired
🙃 looking in the mirror and thinking “meh”

And the frustrating bit?

I KNOW what to do… I’ve done it before 🤦‍♀️

I’ve had the energy back
I’ve felt confident
I’ve actually felt like myself again

But life gets busy… and somehow we always end up at the bottom of the list. 📝

So… I’m starting again.

Nothing extreme.
Nothing unrealistic.

Just getting back to the basics and actually sticking to it this time.

If you’re feeling a bit like this too… you’re definitely not the only one 💛

Time for an introduction for those who dont know me.....

A little about me… ✨
I’m a working mum of two 👩‍👧‍👦 juggling life, work, kids, and everything in between. For the longest time, I honestly thought feeling tired all the time was just… normal 😴

But then my clothes started feeling a bit tighter 👖 (you know the feeling 😅), and that was my "okay, something needs to change moment"
I tried all the things — fasting ⏰, cutting carbs 🍞❌, and even exercise 🏃‍♀️… although if I’m being honest, I didn’t really know what to do or when to do it 🤷‍♀️

Then I found something that actually worked for me 💚

It fitted easily into my day, didn’t feel restrictive, and within a few weeks I noticed I had much more energy ⚡ my clothes felt less tight 🙌 and I started to feel like a younger version of myself again ✨
And as for the exercise side of things… I’ve now got my very own extra special PT, who makes sure it's right for me and my goals.💪😏
Luckily for me, he’s my husband — so I can’t escape the workouts now 😂

I felt so good that I wanted to help others feel the same — which is why I became a Wellness & Nutrition Coach 🌿

Now my passion is helping other busy people (especially mums) find their spark again and realise they don’t have to accept feeling exhausted as “just everyday life.”

Weekends are for relaxing, not overdoing it. You don’t need to “treat yourself” at every meal just because it’s the weekend. Eat what you enjoy, stop when you’re full, and keep feeling good. 🙌

And yes... I'll enjoy my fajitas and a cheeky blueberry muffin later! 😋😋 🌮🧁
