Learning to save lives and empower their knowledge, Team Bedfont always puts safety first!

Earlier this month, we were thrilled to invite Magenta Group to deliver first-aid training to our fantastic staff. Every year, we encourage our staff to volunteer as first aiders for Bedfont, ensuring employees are safe and that first aiders are on hand when needed.

Here, at Bedfont, we provide all the resources they need to become fully trained.

Magenta demonstrated enthusiasm and commitment to safety and shared vital skills, providing the best training for our new and existing first aiders.

Today we’re marking Mental Health First Aid England's Mental Health First Aider Day, a moment to recognise and celebrate our incredible Wellbeing Warriors who go above and beyond to support the wellbeing of our colleagues every day.

We’re proud to have three team members fully trained in Mental Health First Aid, with our newest member due to complete their training in December. These dedicated individuals play such an essential role in creating a workplace where everyone feels seen, supported, and safe to talk about mental health.

Being a Mental Health First Aider is about more than just training; it’s about having the empathy, awareness, and confidence to listen without judgment, offer reassurance, and signpost colleagues to professional support when it’s needed most.

Having people in the workplace equipped with these skills helps us build a culture where mental health is taken seriously, stigma is reduced, and help is always within reach.
