My name is Lorraine Prescott and I have been a qualified therapist since 2002. I have a passion for holistic therapies and believe they are an ideal way to counteract the day-to-day stresses so many of us endure, together with assisting in relaxation and helping your body find a state of equilibrium. A variety of free sound healing sessions, meditation sessions, gentle movement sessions, talks and workshops being held over the course of the weekend 🎶🧘‍♀️ We also have stallholders selling various products, natural products and goodies, therapy session stalls, clairvoyant/tarot readers and DJs/live musicians creating a laid back vibe in our 'chill zone' ☺️

Being held within the beautiful grounds of Bilsington Priory and within the Priory itself, this unique festival setting allows you to reset, rebalance and take your foot off the pedal for a day or two 🙏

Yesterday was, what the media call ‘Blue Monday’🌧️

I say the media because apparently there’s no scientific proof that the 3rd Monday in January affects people more than, say, other times of the winter months.

Did you buy into it feeling like Blue Monday and you started the week feeling fed up before it had even begun? 😢Or did you set a more positive intention as to how you wanted your day/week to pan out and shift your mindset to be more supportive and uplifting? 😍

It doesn’t mean that everything is going to be plain sailing (I mean, things happen don’t they), but if you set your intention that your focus is going to be positive and problems can be solved … you’re starting your day with a better outlook ✨

A lovely NYE so far - planning for 2026 earlier today, as well as admiring the beauty of these trees 🌳 🥰

And, something myself and .snowball.9 always like to do is to take some time to think about what we're ready to release ... and do so with intention as we release each one into the flames of the fire 🔥

It's a lovely experience to do (and something we always do at our Create Your Vision workshops!).

Tomorrow will be about setting new goals, refocusing on growth and starting 2026 with a 💫💥

As we are nearing the end of 2025, it seems many are already turning their attention to self-care and looking after themselves and/or doing something new for 2026 – and good for you! 🥰

2025 has been a tough year for many and you may be breathing a sigh of relief that we’ll be starting anew in a couple of days.

2026 – a new year and also a 1 year 🌟 In numerology, this is the start of a new 9 year cycle and symbolising new beginnings, setting new intentions, reset and rebirth … perhaps a fresh start, or renewed focus 💫

So, what do you want your 2026 to look like? How do you want to feel? 💗

As always, CLUB CHI is here to support you throughout the year and here’s what we have in store for the start of the year:

🟠'Create Your Vision 2026' is our wellness workshop taking place on Saturday 31 January (10am – 4pm) at Lake House Kent. Letting go of what you’re ready to release, to create space for manifesting the new – getting clarity on your dreams and desires ✨ Our workshops are interactive and will include letting go rituals, mindful movement, meditations, creative journaling/manifesting, a gong bath – all helping you on your way to a great 2026! It's Christmas Eve and The Healing Tree is on the home straight now until it's time for a few days off ... before supporting clients in the last few days of 2025 next Monday and Tuesday 🥰 (plus it will keep me away from all the chocolates this time of year 🤣)

And, as we approach Christmas and the end of 2025, may I wish each and every one of you a very happy and healthy Christmas and a great start to 2026 ✨💫

For all of you have prioritised your health and wellbeing this year, I hope you take some time to acknowledge that so many people don't do this and that you should thank yourself for looking after YOU 💜

Christmas – a time of fun, festivities and merriment Or, is it? 🎄🎁

For a lot of people, Christmas can feel the complete opposite. For some it can feel a time of pressure (mentally, emotionally and physically); wearing a mask of happiness when they’re feeling sad. Maybe wanting to be more social but feeling lonely for a myriad of reasons.

There can be a lot of expectations around Christmas and we come out the other side feeling completely frazzled and going into the New Year feeling flat 😢

Christmas shouldn’t be like this – so what can you do differently, to reduce the pressure? To take some time for you to do what you need to do?

This is where The Healing Tree and CLUB CHI can support you. Maybe you need some time for you to reset and rebalance your nervous system? To reconnect to calm and peace, so you feel more resilient for the Christmas period? 💜

Whether it be a 1:1 session at The Healing Tree, focusing on what YOU need, or joining our group sessions at CLUB CHI and allowing yourself that time to slow everything down - looking after yourself should be a priority 💚

Christmas will soon be upon us and you may be frantically buying presents – or pulling your hair out as you haven’t a clue what to buy people! 🎄🎁

Amongst the festive madness, do you ever think you deserve a gift too? Maybe the gift of wellness 💜 Taking that much-needed time for you? And, finally doing something just for YOU 🙏

At The Healing Tree, you can press pause on the outside world and all the things on your to-do list and just relax 💗 Enjoying the warmth of the heated couch, letting tension melt away as you enjoy one of the many therapies on offer.

It was an honour to be asked to deliver a Tai Chi Qigong session to the Different Strokes Ashford Kent group on Friday afternoon by Lisa Pearson🙏

What I love about Qigong is its versatility 💗 We came together as a group and people were able to sit, stand, focus on their breath ... doing whatever felt right for them. Performing some of the session standing and some seated, it enabled people to listen to what they needed to do, rather than push on when feeling fatigued.

I was able to stay for the rest of the meeting afterwards where stories were shared over a cuppa and a slice of cake - and my eyes were truly opened by the experiences of all in this wonderful group.

Strokes don't just affect those of a certain age; it can happen at any age and at any time. And so many people are probably unaware of these support groups, where working age stroke survivors, as well as their carers, can connect safely with those who have also been navigating life after a stroke 💜

Different Strokes Ashford Kent meet monthly and it is a super friendly group, so don't feel you have to do this alone - the support is there 🥰
