Did you know that acne is actually one of the most common skin conditions affecting millions of people. While it traditionally affects teens, adult acne is just as common.

Acne can happen in occasional outbreaks, or it can be constant, it is most common on the face, back and chest, when left untreated it can cause scarring, so it is always best to treat acne early.

Here at Enhance Clinic UK we can help to effectively treat acne using Intense Pulsed Light alone or in combination with other clinical treatments. IPL treatments greatly reduce the number and severity of active lesions, lessening the inflammation and frequency of break-outs.

Laser treatment works best for people with mild to moderate acne and is especially suitable for those who have tried the usual treatments with creams and antibiotics with little or no success.

The laser treatment can reduce acne spots and fade the red marks left behind by the spots.

2 or 3 laser treatments are usually required at 2-3 week intervals and most people start to see the results after the 1st or 2nd treatment.

Aftercare of your skin is very simple and any redness usually settles within a day or two. Our practitioner will advise you on how to look after your skin.

The benefit of laser treatment for acne may wear off after a few months and a top-up treatment could be required.
