📣We’re Hiring: Awake Night Sit Carer

📌 Location: West Malling, Kent
💷Salary: £12.21 to £13.08 per hour
⏱ Schedule: Monday to Friday and weekend shifts available, typically from 22:00- 07:00 (overnight shifts)

🔹This role requires a female carer at the request of the family.

🔹Please note you must be eligible to work in the UK. We do not offer sponsorship.

🟪Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Awake Night Sit Carer to provide overnight care and support to a lovely lady in her home. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of client throughout the night. This role requires attentiveness and the ability to respond quickly to any needs or emergencies that may arise during the night.

🟪Key Responsibilities:

▪️Overnight Supervision: Remain awake and vigilant throughout the night to monitor a client's wellbeing
▪️Personal Care: Assist with any personal care needs as required
▪️Emotional Support: Provide companionship and emotional reassurance to client during waking periods
▪️Emergency Response: Respond promptly to any medical or behavioural emergencies, following established protocols and alerting appropriate authorities if needed
▪️Documentation: Keep accurate records of the client's condition and any incidents that occur during the night, reporting these to the Care Manager or relevant health professionals
▪️Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with the daytime care team, providing detailed handovers and updates on the clients status

🟪Qualifications:

▪️Experience: Previous experience in a similar role as a carer or health care assistant is beneficial but not required
▪️Training: Relevant care qualifications are desirable but not mandatory as full training will be provided
▪️Skills: Strong observational and communication skills, with the ability to stay alert and respond quickly to client needs
▪️Personal Qualities: Compassionate, patient, and able to provide calm reassurance during the night
▪️Physical Ability: Capable of assisting with mobility and personal care, including lifting and repositioning clients as necessary

He requires a patient carer willing to spend time getting to know him and to support him with elements of his social care. He has a great sense of humour and loves meeting new people. He requires assistants at the college on specific days in the week, therefore we are seeking confident driver to take him there and support during the day. He has an avid interest in football and playing games on his Wii. His other enjoyments are walks in the local community and listening to music.

📍Location: Paddock Wood, Kent
💰Hourly Rate: £15.00- £16.83 per hour with enhanced rates on BH and over festive period
⏱️Shifts Available: 2-3 shifts a week, days 7:00- 19:30, nights 18:30- 8:00 including alternate weekends (additional shifts may be available for annual leave and sickness cover)
