Why seek a diagnosis?

Isn't it 'just a label?'

Absolutely not, research shows that early recognition of neurodevelopmental differences enables appropriate support from both home, school and work, and is essential in avoiding many associated challenges such as anxiety, addictive behaviours, burnout and depression/suicidal ideation.

A diagnosis also allows both children and adults to understand and embrace their brain style and build a life that suits them.

We spend a lot of time with children and families post diagnosis, helping them to learn more about their strengths and challenges.

We also work directly with educational providers and workplaces AS PART OF THE ASSESSMENT.

Lets help people to thrive, and avoid future mental health difficulties.

We see a huge amount of "dual diagnosis" children and adults. This diagnosis is often described as AuDHD.

Our belief is that neurodivergence is a normal part of lifes rich tapestry and individual profiles better explain people's unique set of strengths and challenges.

We offer support for parents and children/young people helping them to understand their own brain style and find ways to accentuate and work with their strengths as well as support their challenges.
