We had a lovely RISE exercise session today, playing with soft balls and enjoying gentle movement together 💪☺️This was our first RISE session of 2026! and it was wonderful to see residents getting involved, having fun, and supporting their wellbeing through activity and social interaction. A big thank you to RISE for leading an enjoyable, engaging and inclusive session.

our residents enjoyed a wonderful Christmas day filled with festive cheer, good company and a delicious Christmas dinner lovingly prepared by our fantastic kitchen team.
With festive decorations, music, laughter and plenty of smiles, it was a truly special day shared together.
Thank you to all our staff for making Christmas so memorable for everyone.

We loved welcoming families into our home today to share an early Christmas dinner together. It’s been a wonderful opportunity for residents and their loved ones to enjoy festive, warm company and special moments in the run up to Christmas. The smiles, laughter and Christmas spirit have truly filled the room. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped us make these celebrations so special ❤️

🐾🎄we had a very special Christmas visit at St Peter’s Care Home today 🐶
Rosie the golden retriever and her owner Joyce from Essex Dog Therapy came to spread some festive cheer and did not disappoint with Rosie dressed as a Xmas elf and bringing plenty of smiles with them ❤️🧑‍🎄
The residents absolutely loved the visit, enjoying cuddles, laughter and the occasional licks. Thank you so much Rosie for helping make our Christmas celebrations extra special ❤️

🧑‍🎄🎵We were delighted this afternoon to welcome the fabulous Cheryl King christmas singer to St Peter’s bringing christmas cheer, beautiful festive songs, and plenty of smiles all around. The atmosphere was full of joy, with residents singing and dancing along and enjoying every moment of the performance
It was a truly special visit that brightened everyone’s day and created some lovely festive moments. A Hugh thank you to Cheryl King for spreading so much Christmas spirit 🎄❤️🎶
