Figs can be argued to be the perfect dry fruit. A perfect balance between sugar, texture, flavour and uses.

Dry Figs can be used in shakes and smoothies, they can be used in desserts, they can eaten directly as a snack. Date fans would be surprised to know that figs captain far lesser sugar than dates do.

Figs are a rich source of fibre, calcium and iron, rich in beneficial nutrients including vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B2 calcium, iron, phosphorus, sodium, and chlorine. Helps in weight loss and lowers cholesterol.

You've been asking and we listened! Barley Cup has arrived!! Made from Barley, Rye & Chicory.. naturally Caffine Free & a source of fibre! 😍
Here's a fabulous recipe for you to try 👇

Barleycup latte macchiato

Ingredients:
200 ml milk
1 vanilla pod
2 teaspoons of Barleycup
50 ml boiling water

Method:
Heat the milk with vanilla pod, it should be hot but not boiling, then remove the vanilla pod and whisk the milk into a thick foam. Place the Barleycup in a tall heatproof glass then add the boiling water and mix well. Finally pour the milk into the glass very slowly down the side of the glass so you have two layers. (if you pour it too quickly, you will have a cappuccino). Spoon over the milk foam to serve.
