* TEMPORARY PART TIME DELIVERY DRIVER NEEDED *
Vision Pharmacy are looking for a Part Time Temporary Delivery Driver to cover for long term sickness.
Initially this will be for a period of 16 weeks, but may be extended if needed.
Hours required are Thurs and Friday 12 noon til 16.30pm. During busy periods you may be required to stay later.
You will also be required to be flexible to cover sickness and Holiday Cover for our other driver during this time.
Start date is 18th Sept, but you will be required to complete some training before this date.
Must be 18 + and ideally hold a DBS certificate.

COUNTER ASSISTANT
Vision Pharmacy are looking for a full time Counter Assistant to join our existing team.
You will be required to work Monday to Fridays as well as on our Saturday rota.
You will need to be an enthusiastic, self motivated individual, who can work well either alone or as part of a team.
Hours are to be discussed at interview, but you must be able to be flexible and cover staff sickness and holidays if needed.
Experience is preferred, but NOT essential, as full training can be given to the right person.

Once again we are helping the lovely Julie gets the shoe boxes out to the elderly, people who may be on their own and in need or who have no family and would benefit from a little something to brighten up Christmas.

*** POLITE NOTICE ***
Once again today we had had a staff member suffer from rudness and unpleasantness from a customer!
This is totally not acceptable and will not be tolerated.
The staff at pharmacy work very hard and do their best with the circumstances they face on a daily basis.
Anyone abusing pharmacy staff will be asked to leave the pharmacy, and will not be allowed back into the building.
Please be kind and remember we are human beings with feelings.

Due to staff sickness Longfield Pharmacy will not be able to deliver any medications to our delivery patients today. All deliverys will he held over until Friday 20th September.
If you are in need of urgent medication, please call the pharmacy and we will do our best to help you.

*** PART TIME DELIVERY DRIVER VACANCY ***
Due to the expansion of our delivery areas we now require a part time driver to deliver medication to our housebound patients.
Hours to be discussed at interview but will be a Thursday and Friday of each week with a guaranteed contract of 9 hours per week but to work til finish is a requirement of this position.
You will need to have a clean driving licence, be physically fit as some heavy lifting is required, and due to insurance purposes for our company van be under the age of 75.
We also need you to be flexible and able to cover our Monday to Wednesday driver should he be on annual leave, or off sick.

EDIT .....THIS POST HAS NOW BEEN FILLED ..... Thankyou to everyone that applied, we have had a massive response to this, we wish you all good luck for the future.
Following on from her uni place being secured, we sadly have to say goodbye to our Junior Aimee.
This leaves an opportunity for a new JUNIOR POSITION....
Hours to be
Tuesday 3.30 til 6.30
Thursday 3.30 til 6.30
and
Sat 9am til 1pm
Age ideally would be 16+ and would suit a yr 11 or 6th form student who has an interest in medicine.
Position is to start as soon as possible with the possibility of training next week.

We are delighted to announce after a particularly nervous wait that our brilliant Junior Aimee has been offered a place at her chosen University after receiving her A level results. Aimee will now be going on to study Criminology.
Well done Aimee, we knew you could do it 👍👏😀
