We will be running a 1 Day free pass on Wednesday 10th September at Blackwater Leisure Centre.

Bring a friend along for a gym or swim session on Wednesday for them to receive a free 1-day pass in aid of Su***de Prevention Day.

If you wish to use this pass for a group exercise class, please ring up in advance on the day to reserve a spot.

These passes can be collected from reception on the 10th September.

🌊💙 Swim for Dementia – Rhian’s Inspiring Challenge! 💙🌊

Hi everyone! Meet Rhian, a new member at Blackwater Leisure Centre, who’s taking on an incredible challenge this September – swimming 10 miles (that’s 644 lengths!) in just 30 days, all in support of the Alzheimer’s Society.

This cause is close to Rhian’s heart, as her beloved 86-year-old grandmother – affectionately known as Gangsta Gran – was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s earlier this year.
With limited treatment options available, Rhian and her family are relying on the vital support and guidance of the Alzheimer’s Society as they navigate this difficult journey.
Rhian will be completing her swim right here at Blackwater Leisure Centre, tracking her progress with our SWIMTAG technology.

We’re incredibly proud to support her in this meaningful challenge and have gifted her a brand new pair of Zoggs Predator goggles to help her power through every length!

She’s already smashed her initial fundraising target of £500 and is now aiming to blow it out of the water – pardon the pun! 🚀
