Maldon Fields Mother’s Day Service

A special service will be held in our chapel on Sunday 15th March at 11am for those who are missing a mother or mother figure, to come together and mark Mother’s Day.

The service will be led by Nicola Saunders our Chapel Manager as we remember, honour and celebrate the lives of our mothers who hold a special place in our hearts. A time of reflection, gratitude and remembrance.

The ceremony will include a commemorative montage where families can add a photo of their mother or mother-figure to be included. These images should be emailed to Nicola at nicola@maldonfields.co.uk by 5pm on Wednesday 11th March.

Whether your memories bring a smile, a tear, or both, you are welcome to join us in this meaningful tribute

We were truly honoured to welcome Dotty and Dora from Essex Therapy Dogs to Maldon Fields Crematorium recently.
Their beautiful dogs — and dedicated volunteer handlers — provide such meaningful comfort to families during some of the most difficult moments in life. A gentle nudge, a quiet presence, or a warm paw to hold can bring immense reassurance when words simply aren’t enough.

At a time when emotions can feel overwhelming, these wonderful dogs offer calm, compassion and unconditional support. We see first-hand the difference they make to the people who walk through our doors, and we are so grateful for the kindness they share so freely.

Thank you, Essex Therapy Dogs, for the incredible work you do in our community and for supporting the families we care for.

Back in November our lovely Perry and her Daughter Iris, placed our hedgehog house in the perfect quiet spot here at Maldon Fields. 🌿

Next month we’re finally allowed to open the hedgehog box… and we’re very excited to see whether we had a resident over the winter! 👀🦔

Fingers crossed it became a cosy home for one of our prickly visitors. We’ll be sure to keep you updated!
