Perry and Nicola had the privilege of laying a wreath this morning at the War Memorial in Maldon at their Remembrance Sunday parade, on behalf of the whole team at Maldon Fields.

Today our garden team planted a new Dutch elm disease resistant Elm tree on our scattering lawn - an Elm “New Horizon”

Elm trees are a genus of trees, once dominant in the British landscape, that are known for their ornamental value, distinctive asymmetrical leaves, and strong, water-resistant wood. While many elms were decimated by Dutch elm disease, some species and disease-resistant varieties are making a comeback and we are proud to have one in our gardens!

This represents the autumn section of the garden and should be surrounded with poppy plants which will come up next year 🙏

Our official service of dedication took place recently and was attended by local ministers, celebrants, funeral directors and local councillors. We have now received the professional photos taken on the day - so many to choose from but these give a good overall glimpse at the day 🙂
