WHAT DO OSTEOPATHS TREAT???

Yes Osteopaths treat back pain. However, we also treat the whole body & design an individual, holistic treatment plan for each patient . Osteopaths consider all aspects of the patients’ life including physical, nutritional, psychological & environmental factors when deciding a patient’s needs. Most treatments will include a hands on approach of massage, manipulation, stretching, nutritional , relaxation & exercise advice, as well as postural / exercise / rehabilitation advice . We use this approach in order to bring the patient back to a balance in their body health so their body can cope & heal itself more efficiently. Our goal is also to help prevent future injuries by encouraging a balance in flexibility & strength in the body , whilst correcting possible aggravating factors in their life.
Treatments last between 30-60 minutes & each patient is treated individually to ensure their experience is comfortable & pleasant.
