👣✨ Foot Care Tips for the Darker Months ✨🍂

As the days get colder and darker, it’s the perfect time to show your feet a little extra love!
Here are some simple tips:

✂️ 1) Trim Your Toenails Regularly
Keeping your toenails at a healthy length helps prevent ingrown nails and fungal infections.

• Cut straight across – avoid rounding the edges or cutting a V-shape.
• Leave a little length – corners should gently rest against the skin (around 1–2 mm of white nail).
• Use small cuts if nails are thick to avoid splintering.
• Clean your tools – wash with soap & water, disinfect with rubbing alcohol, and store them somewhere clean and dry.
• Trim every 6–8 weeks (more often if you’re very active).
• File rough edges to prevent sharp corners irritating the skin.

🧽 2) Keep Your Toes Clean
Regular washing helps prevent athlete’s foot and fungal nails.
Don’t forget to dry thoroughly between your toes! 🦶💧

💡 Keep these habits consistent and your feet will stay comfortable, healthy, and winter-ready all season long!

🍂👣 Seasonal Foot Health 👣❄️

As the seasons change, so do the challenges for our feet!

With Autumn rolling in, we get cooler weather, rainy days, and the return of closed-toe shoes - and that’s when we start to see more foot problems popping up. 🍁👟

Did you know that around 70% of people in the UK deal with foot issues linked to wet, slippery conditions at this time of year? 🌧️👣

NICE also notes a 25% rise in ankle sprains during Autumn, so those damp pavements really can catch you out! 🤕🦶

As we move into Winter, things don’t get much easier. The NHS reports a 30% increase in cold-related foot problems, while RoSPA found that icy conditions cause around 30% of all winter slip-and-trip accidents in the UK. ❄️🧊

🩸It’s Diabetes Awareness Month!

It’s so important to know what to look for and where to go to get help 💙

Diabetes is a condition where the body can’t properly regulate blood sugar (glucose) levels - either because it doesn’t produce enough insulin, or because the body doesn’t use it effectively.

Over time, high blood sugar can affect many parts of the body - including your eyes, nerves, kidneys, heart, and feet.

That’s why regular foot checks and good daily care are so important❗️

Throughout this month, we’ll be sharing:
👣 What signs to look out for in your feet
💡 Top tips for keeping them healthy

Stay tuned and follow along to keep your feet - and your health - one step ahead 💪🏼
