Xmas Opening Hours
We are open for a slightly shortened day on Monday, and for Xmas Eve morning.
Eastgate Dental is covering emergencies on Friday, and then we are open for emergencies in the morning on Monday the 30th and Tuesday the 31st.
Back to normal on Thursday Jan 2

This hat was left in our waiting room some months ago, and I have been remiss in publicizing that we have it.
We contacted all the patients over the possible time it was left, with no result, so we presume it was someone accompanying a patient.

New Patients

Barley Mow is accepting new patients.
We are taking on adult patients privately and those under 18 will be seen on the NHS.
If you email, call or pop in our reception team will arrange an appointment for you or your family.

Christmas Opening Hours
We are now closed for Xmas.
We are sharing emergency cover with Eastgate Dental over the next week.
NHS 111 is responsible for cover during the Bank Holidays and Eastgate Dental is covering Wed 28th, and we are covering the Thursday and Friday.
If you want an appointment leave a message on Eastgate Dental's phone, or ours or email us.
We will reopen as normal on Tuesday the 4th January.

The practice has employed some additional hygienists so the situation with hygiene appointment availability has improved.
For those of you awaiting a scan our scanner is back and working (replaced in toto actually) nd we will be arranging appointments as soon as we can.

We are closing for the balance of Wednesday 10th August as we have no power. We will contact as many patients as we can and will rearrange appointments in the next few days

At the present the practice is struggling to provide regular examinations and hygiene care, so please bear with us.
The combination of slower throughput of patients from the ongoing Covid restrictions, the resulting treatment backlog, older patients coming out of shielding and staff holidays have all combined to create long delays before we can see you. (I am trying to avoid using the often used phrase "Perfect Storm" here! )
We are managing to see urgent cases but definitive treatment is taking longer to arrange.
It is also limiting our capacity to see new patients and non-urgent examination appointments.
