We are so incredibly proud of our Deputy Home Manager, Lucy, who has now completed the Cotswolds Mighty Hike 2025 – Half Marathon in support of Macmillan Cancer Support! 💚👟

Lucy took on the 13-mile challenge with courage, determination, and her usual positive spirit — and she absolutely smashed it! From start to finish, she showed the same dedication and heart that she brings to Athelstan House every single day.

Taking on this hike wasn’t just about miles — it was about making a difference. Lucy, your compassion and drive inspire us all, and we’re so proud to have you as part of our team.

Today, our amazing Deputy Home Manager, Lucy, is taking on the Mighty Hikers 13-mile walk in support of Macmillan Cancer Support – and she’s already halfway through the challenge! 💚👟

We are all so proud of Lucy for stepping up (literally!) to raise funds for such an incredible cause. Her determination and compassion shine through in everything she does — both at work and beyond.

Let’s show Lucy our support and help her raise as much as possible for Macmillan, who do vital work for people affected by cancer. Every step she takes is making a difference!

Last week, we were delighted to welcome the members of Sherston Community
Choir to Athelstan House. They provided our residents with an afternoon of wonderful entertainment, which was enjoyed by all. ☺️

Happiness is a ukulele on a warm day! ☀️🎼

With the recent heatwaves, Athelstan residents have been keeping cool in our air-conditioned heart-of-the-home and enjoying a performance from Ukulele Piddle.

Always an enjoyable performance, Ukulele piddle definitely brought the summery Hawaiian vibes. 🌺
