This week, as we continue to fly the flag for women in our society 🫶 … we need to confront a hard truth about cardiac arrest in women 💔🙋‍♀️

⏱️ Every minute without CPR and defibrillation reduces survival by around 10% ⏱️

📉 Women are 27% less likely to receive bystander CPR than men

😔 Hesitation is costing lives

‼️When you place an AED on an unresponsive person, it will instruct you to remove all clothing from the chest.

‼️‼️For many women, that means removing a bra‼️‼️

This is not optional. This is life-saving care. ⚡

💪 Chest compressions alone = around 8% survival

⚡ AED within the first 3 minutes = 40–70% survival
