Very proud to support this event. 💚🚙💨

Last year we raised £8,590.00 for the Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team, this year we set out with a target of trying to reach 10k, and with your help, we not only reached it. . . We absolutely smashed it out the park 🤩🎉

Our heart and soul really goes into our little show, so i'm not ashamed to admit it but I am feeling slightly emotional writing this post, I am absolutely blown away with what WE have all achieved, the show helpers, the traders, autojumble sellers, food / drink sellers, club stands, and you guys, our awesome visitors. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, I am so proud of what we have all achieved.

A staggering £14,120.00 is going to be a massive help to the legends at the Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team.

Thank you all again. . Now, time for next year's show planning, and we already have some exciting ideas in place, so watch this space for next year's date release 👀

YLR Show 2025..... completed it!

Its been a hot and dusty fantastic weekend at York, lots of awesome people, lots of Land Rovers and plenty of refreshments!

Thankyou to Dean Vipers, Marcus Scales, and Steve Hancock for having your supercool Land Rovers on the MSJ stand, Sally Darley for keeping me fed and watered. Mabel and Stanley for providing the entertainment, but mostly the organisers, Richard Canterbury and the team at RCM 4x4 Limited, for putting on a great weekend.

Let's hope we smashed last year's total for the good folks at Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team.

This lovely low mileage growling V8 Discovery 1 came to us last week for a new headlining.
The owner has decided its time to let a new owner hear that beautiful V8 purr, so Paul and Charlie Mathewson from Mathewsons Classic Cars collected it to take to auction this morning.

We're loaded to the max, and heading over to RCM 4x4 Limited now, a day of turning a stubble field into the YLR Show this weekend.

1 week to show time!!!

Apologies for the lack of updates, we've been super busy with vehicle work, YLR Show prep and working late on the MSJ tour bus.

This silver defender 90 will be on our stand this year, owned by a very good friend, we've fitted a snow grey headlining and trimmed the side pods to match, finishing a super clean interior.

Lots more work done to the Crafter for the stand too, so if your thinking of dipping into the world of van conversion, come see us at the show for a chat.

The trailer is almost loaded, lots of fresh things to see, and fully restocked with our led light units to help you find your kit in your land rover on those dark nights.

This time next week, we'll be sat in a field having a beer, hope you can join us. (Fetch your own beers though!)

Last weekend we had a fantastic but very dusty weekend Rallying in wales, The boss, Mabel, got the privilege of meeting Nicky Grist for a photo too, a real proud dad moment.

Back in the workshop now and a lovely Defender 90 in today for a full headlining colour change.

Rather smart i think! 👌😍

I don't keep Defender headlinings as stock for exchange due to the baseboard stability, so a busy day stripping out, cleaning, re-laying fabric, and re-fitting with new black trim clips.

YLR Show in 4 weeks time. Hope to see you there!

Super clean Td5 in today from South Yorkshire, for removal of bathroom sealing products (silicone), new seals and a very smart dark slate grey headlining.

A happy customer and a very happy Joe, with a parting gift of biscuits! Thankyou!

We're closing at 4pm today, loading the van for a weekend of welsh forest rally action. My first weekend off since early May, and very much needed to recharge the batteries before we go full throttle for YLR Show.

All enquires will be dealt with on Monday teatime.

2 lovely well kept land rovers from Derbyshire came in this week for a few leak repairs and new headlinings. 👌

More progress on the crafter which seems to be taking forever 🥵

We're closing early next week as we're heading down to Wales for the Nicky Grist Motorsports Rally 🌲🌲🚗💨💨🌲. Some much needed time off.

What a scorcher today eh!? 🥵☀️🥵☀️🥵☀️🥵

Just jumping on quickly with some pics from the 1996 p38 i had in on friday. Headlining out and the flocked pillar trims stripped and retrimmed in our closest to oem colour. full quality control from young Stan the man throughout the job and a good thumbs up when done. 👍

We've got a massive hill to climb as we step into July, lots of leaky D2s to bring into the operating room, 5 vehicles to prepare for YLR Show 2025, and get the works van done for our annual family holiday the week after the show.

Good morning folks! 🌞🌞

Firstly, apologies for the lack of content, there's just not enough hours in the day.

My feet have barely touched the floor since the boss and I returned from the south east tour, so we're back to working silly hours to keep you lovely lot motoring.

Lots of client vehicle work and progress with the MSJ camper, in between.

A well travelled D2 arrived with us yesterday and is putting up a real fight removing the bodged and corroded sunroofs so that's today's battle.

YLR Show plans are well underway, and we've secured a lovely landy that's a little bit different for the stand, well worth coming for a nosy 🧐

South East.... We're nearly ready to go! 🚛💨💨💨

The trailer is loaded, the co-driver has been plotting the route (hopefully no low bridges this time), and I need to get the tools in the van. 🔧🪛

Planning logistics with clients, setting dates and time schedules, and all the behind the scenes bits, takes time, but I'm ready for the challenge.

Mabel is coming along for this one too now we're in half term.
