1 year postpartum and I’m finally starting to feel strong and at home in my body again 🤍

Falling back in love with the flow… remembering that it’s always evolving, always shifting. No destination, no pressure, no fancy goals, just movement, just showing up.

My body isn’t the same, and it never will be. But it’s strong, it’s purposeful, and it carries me through every transition.

And honestly… I’m just really enjoying it again. Getting back into creating and sequencing for my classes, playing around, trying things out, seeing what feels good, it feels like I’ve found that spark again ✨

👋 Tuesday's Teacher Feature: Meet Kristina 👋

💫 What are you currently reading?

‘Breath’ by James Nestor

It’s absolutely fascinating! Following on from my Yoga for Resilience training I started reading this book and believe me, you’ll never take breathing for granted again!

💫 How would you describe your teaching style in 3 words?

Calm - Intuitive - Nourishing

💫 What's your post teaching routine?

If it’s a morning class I’ve just finished teaching, I always pop to my favourite place in Malton - Purple Carrot for a cheeky post-class Matcha latte (and possibly one of their delicious cakes 🤫😁)

If it’s an evening class I’ve just finished teaching, then it’s shower, big fluffy dressing gown, and a little downtime in front of the TV

💫 A place you could go to over and over again?

I think most people would probably guess the answer to this 😅

It has to be my beloved Ibiza🤍 - it feels like Home every time I return, the place where I get to release my inner hippie ☮️✌🏻 it’s such a soulful, happy place, - the perfect coves, beautiful old towns, the food, the vibe and of course the music - forever my happy place 🫶

You’ll find Kristina bringing the energy and the calm at the studio throughout the week, from grounding Slow Flow and uplifting Energising Flow on Wednesday evenings, to Thursday morning’s Strong & Steady Flow, and finishing the week with her accessible and supportive Chair Yoga on Fridays.

Sutra Sunday 🧘‍♀️

“Practice becomes firmly grounded when cultivated consistently over a long period, without interruption, and with earnest devotion.”

This is a reminder that real transformation isn’t rushed, it’s revealed through patience, consistency, and care. A steady practice isn’t about quick results or chasing progress. In fact, the more anxious or unsettled we are to “get somewhere,” the more we reinforce the very restlessness we’re trying to move beyond.

A calm, grounded mind grows slowly, like roots deepening beneath the surface. It’s not just about how long you practice, but how you show up: with patience, with sincerity, and with wholehearted devotion.

Consistency builds the foundation. Patience softens the process. Devotion gives it meaning.

Stay with it. 🌿

Opening the heart, one breath at a time. Here’s how to safely work your way into Wheel Pose (Urdhva Dhanurasana). Take it slow, listen to your body, and enjoy the journey 🤍✨

👋 Tuesday's Teacher Feature: Meet Katarina 👋

💫 What are you currently reading?

I always have more than one book on the go. Currently: Attachment in psychotherapy by David J. Wallin and The Baby in the Mirror by Charles Fernyhough.
Both of these open a little window of understanding for why we are how we are as adults.

💫 How would you describe your teaching style in 3 words?

Meditative; relaxed; introspective.

💫 What's your post teaching routine?

My yin yoga and meditation classes are meditative, relaxed, spiritual and quite late in the evening. I tend to float out of the studio and in that wonderful woolly feeling get home; check my children sleeping, I then rest and enjoy the continuous post class relaxation with a cup of tea; often chatting with my partner; reading or watching TV

💫 A place you could go to over and over again?

As a true cosmopolite that would be anywhere where I can sit quietly for a few moments; undisturbed with a cup of strong Yorkshire tea watching the world go by.

You’ll find Kat holding space in our Sunday monthly women’s circles, as well as guiding our Yin Yoga & meditation sessions.

✨April Monthly Sanctuary✨

Yin Yoga is the meditative practice emphasising surrender instead of effort; stillness instead of movement, awareness instead of achievement. In this space, rest becomes a gateway to self-awareness and acceptance.

"Sometimes the most spiritual act is simply to rest." Rumi

Join me on Sunday 19th April for a 90-minute Sanctuary
at Flow for All Yoga, Malton.

A space to soften, slow down, and simply be.

✨This Sunday we sat with the Mother archetype.
Thought of as the source of all becoming, we returned to her all that was given, all that was taken, and all that was longed for…
And in the quiet that remains, we remember who we are. This is who we nurture.✨

Proof you don’t need fancy equipment to build real strength, just control, consistency, and a little slide on the wooden floor 👀🔥

Join us every Monday at 7:15pm for Strength in Motion and feel the difference in how your body moves and stabilises 💪

Save this reel, share it with a friend, and come move with us!

Had a rare bit of spare time after class… obviously that meant a long overdue Pincha Mayurasana practice 🙃
Started off strong, feeling myself a little too much… and yeah, straight onto my face 🤦‍♂️

But hey, that’s the process. You fall, you learn, you come back stronger 💫
