Activities Coordinator

Are you passionate about making a difference in a charity where our mission is to improve the quality of life for local people with sight loss?
• Ryedale (Office: Norton, Malton)
• £12,270 per Annum, funded by The National Lottery.
• Part-time, 18 hours per week, over three days: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
• Fixed term contract until 31st March 2027
• Closing Date: 13th July
• Interview Date: Monday 21st July

As part of the role, you will:
• Co-produce social meetings, activities and excursions for Sight Support Ryedale members.
• Collaborate with all stakeholders, members, transport providers and venues.
• Maintain accurate records and support the management team to monitor and evaluate service provision for future improvement.
• The role involves working in the community; therefore, access to a car and business insurance are essential.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office is also vital.
To be successful for this post:
• You will be a highly motivated individual and have experience in a similar role.
• You will have a good understanding of Vision Loss.
• You will have a good understanding of Safeguarding and be able to carry out Risk Assessments.
