Places are filling up for the September Women's Circle at Kemps Bookshop, Malton, so book your ticket soon if you'd like to join us! I'd love to see you there.
Another evening to enjoy, with a lovely small group of women (no more than 12).
As you step through the door into the peaceful haven of Kemps, you're invited to leave any stresses outside, and give yourself the gift of time to be still, relax, reflect and connect with others. Connection is often found in shared silence as well as in the freedom to speak, in a place where you will be heard with acceptance, where there is no advice giving or opinion swapping unless specifically invited.
This is time to nourish yourself and be nourished and to reset yourself, away from the busy world.

Come and join us on Monday 25th August from 7.30pm -9pm in the gorgeous haven of Kemps Bookshop, Malton for the next “Telling our Stories” Women’s Circle.

The perfect way to end the bank holiday with time for yourself to wind down, be still and enjoy a guided relaxation and reflection and connection with other women. No performances required, come as you are and be yourself. No need to contribute if you’d prefer to just listen.

A wonderful group of women enjoyed the July “Telling our Stories” Women’s Circle in the evening calm of Kemps Bookshop. It was the first time for many to attend a Circle - so if you’ve been on the fence about trying something new, then know you’ll be very welcome! An evening of calm, relaxation, reflection and connection is in store.
Bookings are open for the August Circle on Monday 25th.

Come and try out a new Women's Circle in the wonderful book-lined calm of Kemps Bookshop in Malton on Monday 28th July, 7.30-9pm. Women of all ages and stages very welcome!

All proceeds will be going to Breast Cancer Now.

Imagine an evening where you can step out of your everyday life, leave behind demands, lists and expectations and just be yourself for a couple of hours. What better place to do that than wonderful book-lined peace of Kemps Bookshop in Malton?
The evening will give you time and space to enjoy a guided relaxation, some reflective questions and listen and be heard in a welcoming, peaceful haven. There's an ancient sort of familiarity and normality in meeting with other women and having time out to connect or simply enjoy being quiet.

Imagine an evening where you can leave all your regular obligations, roles and demands at the door of a calm and welcoming haven...

This is an invitation to women of all ages and stages (18+) in and around Malton to exactly that, and I'd love you to join me at Kemps Bookshop, Malton on Monday 28th July from 7.30pm - 9pm.

If you've not been to a Women's Circle before, you can come just as you are and expect a warm welcome. There'll be a relaxing guided meditation, reflective questions to consider and time to be heard and "say it how it is" without unasked for advice. You can also simply listen and enjoy the time out with no pressure to contribute. This is your time, to be who you are.

It's time for another "Press Pause" online event!

Come and join me online for the next "Press Pause: Lunch-Time-Out Guided Relaxation for Busy People" on Wednesday 23rd July at 1pm.

Forty-five minutes to step out of the day's demands and activities, totally relax body and mind, and reset for the afternoon. Taking deliberate time out to slow down and get calm gives your brain the space it needs to process, problem solve and find creative inspiration on a completely different level, while you are relaxing. Or if you need it, you'll find yourself being still and recharging.

If you've never been to a Women's Circle, welcome to "Telling Our Stories"!
This is a space for women of all ages and stages. From the moment you step into the welcoming warmth of Kemps bookshop, you'll be able to relax and know you don't have to perform, or do or be ANYTHING for ANYONE for an hour and a half! The Circle offers time out for you to re-charge, and enjoy the support and sense of connection that comes from really listening to the stories and fragments of stories from other women, and from being truly heard yourself. It's an uplifting experience.
If you're not in the mood for speaking, no matter! You are welcome just as you are.
A Circle is the ideal place to find how we are all really both different and the same...
You can expect:
a short welcome and a few guidelines for the evening and how the Circle will work;
a guided relaxation to quiet mind and body;
a reflective question or prompt;
time to contribute and listen - unhurried and judgment free;
Doors open at 7pm for a prompt 7.30pm start. Chairs will be available, but feel free to bring a cushion for extra comfort. There won't be a set refreshment time so please bring a flask should you wish!
