Today, we come together to raise awareness, break the stigma, and remind each other that hope is possible and help is real.

This year’s theme: “Changing the Narrative: A Collective Effort to Prevent Su***de” reminds us that every action counts. A kind word, a listening ear, or reaching out for support can save a life. 💛

🕯️ At 8 PM tonight, light a candle in your window to honor those we’ve lost, support those who struggle, and stand with survivors.

💬 Let’s spread compassion. Let’s create hope through action. Reaching out for help is a sign of strength 💪

Motherly Love Domiciliary Care Ltd was established in 2024 by Danielle Wood an experienced care professional and qualified trainer with a strong track record in care delivery, workforce development, and service leadership. Our director brings years of experience working with councils and training bodies across England, ensuring our care is built on best practice, real experience, and heartfelt values.

We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and proud members of the Homecare Association. All staff will receive full mandatory training through Red Crier, and access to CPD College for desirable training and city and guilds for diploma level qualifications.

At Motherly Love, we know that well-being isn’t just about care – it’s all about choice, independence, and the little moments that make life brighter.

This service user enjoys a trip to his local pub. We drop him off so he can enjoy a pint, some good company, and a change of scenery – then pick him up when he’s ready to head home.

North Yorkshire is rich in heritage, with many fascinating English Heritage sites right on our doorstep. We enjoyed a meaningful afternoon supporting one of our service users to explore the impressive ruins of Rievaulx Abbey and Byland Abbey—a great reminder of how history can spark curiosity, conversation, and connection. 💜🧡
