Some of our Gents enjoyed a few hours at The Morgan Motor Experience Centre this week. They looked at what the showroom had to offer and then the Archive room, which has lots of vintage cars and memorabilia to look at. Before they had a hot drink in the cafe. It was a cold day but it was a great way to spend a few hours.

We rounded off our season of Christmas activities with a fantastic performance by D`Artagnan in the Bistro. People living with us joined in singing along to Christmas favourites and other well-known songs, creating a lovely atmosphere. D`Artagnan also shared the music video for his own Christmas song, which was a wonderful way to bring our festive celebrations to a close.

Happy New Year! At Windsor Court we welcomed the New Year in style with a beautiful piano performance by Christian Cox, followed by cheese and wine supper. People living with us enjoyed joyful countdown and confetti at 6pm, and we finished the evening singing Auld Lang Syne together. A lovely way to celebrate and welcome the year ahead!

A huge thank you to Songbirds Ukulele club who led our Christmas Party with such energy and cheer. It was a brilliant success with lots of singing, dancing and joy. Never before have we had so many people up and dancing.

Lifestyle Lead April, hosted our very first Game show afternoon, as we celebrated our MMCG Family Christmas. There were fun and audience participation games, as we collected prizes in our teams. There was Christmas music and trivia rounds and we watched a message from the MMCG team. The afternoon ended with a surprise rendition on the 12 days of Christmas, as all the prizes throughout the afternoon were props relating to the song. It was a great afternoon, with lots of engagement from those who live with us, their visitors and staff.

We held our 5th annual Windsor Court Nativity this weekend. This time in our Bistro using our Symphony Sound room kit, meaning that we were able to scale up the show and everyone still be able to hear. Staff, families and those that live with us took part, dressing up and reading their parts with flare and a touch of drama. It was a comical script, that gained many eruptions of laughter, as well as more serious and meaningful moments, as we acted through the story of Jesus's birth.

A special outing this week for Colin, who has stuck up a friendship with 6 year old Archer, lifestyle lead April's son. Colin greatly enjoyed going to Archer's school carol service, meeting his class mates and teacher too. Colin was thrilled to see all the children and said it really put him in the Christmas spirit.
