Another busy and exciting day in Windsor Court Care Home.

We started with solving crosswords in the Bistro while having nice hot drinks. Our small club of word games lovers are always happy to exercise their minds with a good puzzle. We didn`t forget about physical exercises and More...Movement, so we did some pedal cycling in the lounge just before lunch.

In the afternoon, we went to St Peters Garden Centre in Worcester to enjoy the last days of summer by having a look around the farm and eating ice cream. A day full of More...Fresh Air!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Summer event!

Due to the hot weather we decided to relocate back to Windsor Court instead of using Malvern Cricket Club, and it was a great decision...

The afternoon was full of residents, staff and visitors enjoying the BBQ, ice cream van, music and bouncy castle. D'Artagnan ended the day for us with a fun performance, before we drew the raffle.

We celebrated Ukrainian Independence day this week, thanks to Myra our lifestyle coordinator kindly organised an event in our Bistro. We shared some Ukrainian foods, listened to music and watched a Hopak dance. Earlier in the week we made our own versions of a traditional headdress and wore them to the event. It was a brilliant afternoon filled with colour, food and culture.

What a wonderful day!

The people living with us had an amazing outing to the St Peter`s Garden Centre in Worcester. We enjoyed a delicious lunch together and walked around the centre for More...Fresh Air.

A huge thank you to Songbirds Ukulele Club for a fantastic afternoon. We couldn't help getting up and dancing. The lovely people living with us had such a nice time, and can't wait to have them back in to perform!

16 of the lovely people that live with us, enjoyed a refreshing drink and More...Fresh Air in the sunshine at our local pub this week.

It was such a lovely time, and everyone really enjoyed themselves. There was lots of chatter, More...Socialising and great conversation.

We then had drinks and ice cream sundaes as the sun finally joined us for our headline act in the 'Lower Garden Stage'!

D'Artagnan is a firm favourite of the people that live with us and he led us in a wonderful hour of singing and dancing, playing a bit of everything. The atmosphere was great as lots came, as well as friends and family, even some of Windsor Courts neighbours accepted the invitation and joined us for the afternoon.

This was followed by a hog roast, strawberries and cream and cocktails. Christian Cox drew our Music festival to a close with beautiful hour of piano.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first ever music festival. It was an excellent day and we will be making Windsor Music Fest an annual event.

Windsor Music Fest's second act of the day, was led by the people that live with us.

Showcasing two of our most popular musical activities. Our Singing Together club took to the 'Bistro Stage' where they sang some of their favorite songs. Our regular drummers then gave a great display of how fun and rewarding our drum fitness, More...Movement sessions are. We drummed to 3 songs, one of which got lots of audience participation as we all sang 'She'll be Coming Round the Mountain'.

Last weekend we threw our very own music festival here at Windsor Court.

The Music Fest kicked off over lunch time at our 'Summer House Stage'. Where the lovely people living with us enjoyed a summer lunch whilst listening to fantastic Ray Mytton and his classical Spanish guitar. It was a great start to the afternoon.

Some of those living with us enjoyed a fantactic afternoon at the Morgan Factory Experience Centre this week.

Taking 7 of the people that live with us and 4 staff. A wonderful archive room has been opened since we last visited, and it was full of memorabilia and vintage Morgans. We spent a while looking at the amazing exhibit before we enjoyed a refreshing drink in the cafe. Everyone had a brilliant time, and enjoyed More...Socialising!
