Quick one on exfoliation, because this gets overdone a lot…

Everyone thinks the more you exfoliate, the better your skin will look, smoother, brighter, all that. But honestly, most people are just overdoing it.

Especially with those harsh scrubs on your face… you’re basically causing tiny little bits of damage to the skin. And over time, that can actually lead to more irritation, more breakouts, and something called inflammation.

Inflammation is basically when your skin’s in a constant state of stress. It might look like redness, sensitivity, spots that won’t go away… and it’s often because the skin barrier’s been disrupted.

So instead of constantly trying to ‘scrub away’ dead skin, the focus should really be on improving your skin health overall.

When your skin’s actually healthy, it renews itself properly. You don’t feel the need to keep attacking it just to make it look brighter.

Less forcing it… more supporting it.

Malvern Serenity was created in Malvern in October 2018 after a years hard work, planning and preparation. Malvern Serenity brings over all of the values established in the beauty pad and hold the mission too... help each of their customers find somewhere to catch a breath, unwind, and feel pampered away from the ‘busyness’ of modern day life.

With a range of services right through from relaxing massages, facials and a floatation tank, through to laser hair removal, fat freezing, a nail bar, pedicure station and blow dry bar we are sure to have something for everything.

Did we mention there is also a gorgeous relaxation room fully available to all clients, it is even stocked with wine if you fancy a cheeky tipple to treat yourself.
