5 MONTHS AGO // I herniated my L4/L5 disc and was in excruciating sciatic pain. Taking a cocktail of meds and sleeping on my hard lounge floor. (I couldn’t get up the stairs or on and off a sofa/bed)

Thank God for and my friends & family for bringing me food, prescriptions and doing the school runs for me in those early weeks! ❤️ And for for going out of her busy way to give me physio at home and the gym! 🌟 And for all of my clients for being so understanding about their cancelled sessions 🙏🏻 It was horrible to feel like I was letting so many people down. 🤍

Thankfully though I discovered programme very early on which instantly set me on the road to recovery. Starting with simply lying over a towel/yoga mat, marching bridges and dead bugs. It was all I could do, but, it was enough and from there progress has been slow and solid 💪🏼

It’s impossible to put 5 months of daily work to become pain free into a reel. But, i hope it shows to anyone experiencing the same that there is light at the end of the tunnel when you follow the right guidance.

Unfortunately, there’s an awful lot of terrible advice out there on spinal/disc injury’s, which can lead to years of suffering, but, if you really want to know what to do then these are your guys .

The journey continues.. ✌🏼

TRAINING HARD IS HARD WORK // but you know what’s harder? Training for years and not seeing results! 😱

The truth is if you really want results there are 3 essential factors you need to adhere too..

1) You gotta train hard, and consistently hard over weeks, months, years! Most people simply don’t train with enough intensity to see the results they want. It’s a real commitment, and the more serious you get about it the more serious your results will be.

2) Your diet and lifestyle outside of the gym has to reflect your goals inside the gym. Your nutrition is so key to your body recomposition. Whether you’re cutting or building, if your nutrition isn’t 80% on point at least, then neither will your results be.

3) You need to follow a training programme(s) that is designed with your goals in mind, and stick to it long term. Constantly jumping from one thing to another because you get bored of doing the same thing over and over again will not get you where you want to be. Repeating the same exercises over and over again will!

There’s A LOT more that can be said on this of course but we would need an actual conversation for that!

In summary though -
