COVID & FLU CLINIC:

The time has come again that we are starting to hold our COVID and Flu vaccination clinics. We currently have appointments available to book on the 11th of October. We will be sending out text messages with a booking link to eligible patients.

❕ There has been a lot of news and interest in the weight loss medication Mounjaro (Tirzepatide). The eligibility criteria is extremely restrictive, and GP Practices in Malvern are awaiting further guidance from our Integrated Care Board (ICB).

Please do NOT contact us to discuss starting the Mounjaro for weight loss. ❕

With regard to obtaining private prescriptions, you can contact Vertis Health, which is Worcestershires largest GP Federation.

Hi, as my last day at St Saviour’s is coming up (22nd Jan) I would like to bid a fond farewell to everyone I have met, dressed wounds, injected and nagged at over the last 25 years at St Saviour’s Surgery.
There has been a lot of laughter, and sometimes tears, but I can honestly say it’s been an absolute pleasure to be part of the team.
Retirement now beckons and I will be swapping my nurses apron and gloves for gardening ones!
Thank you for all the good wishes already received.

Don’t forget that you can protect yourself against flu this Christmas. Unfortunately the NHS is dealing with a rise in cases. Still plenty in stock so call us to book yours. Free to all over 65, under 65 with certain conditions.

Firstly thank you for your patience at the clinic yesterday.

It’s not like the old days with a quick flu jab, there is so much admin and various vaccinations according to age and eligibility and only 2 clinicians and admin available to do that date.

Anyway, enough of the excuses 😆 we got there in the end and I got to catch up with a lot of you that I haven’t seen for a while.

Many thanks to our volunteers Marion and Jeremy for helping us, it’s a difficult job with such a small car park and a cul-de-sac!

We will still be running small clinics on weekdays for any of you that haven’t got round to it yet! 🦠💉

LAST SATURDAY FLU/COVID CLINIC

More appointments will be available according to need.
Anyone who receives a text or call from St Saviour’s will be eligible for a free vaccination against flu, Covid or both.

If you have not been offered a vaccination and feel that you are eligible please call us for advice.
Eligibility for Covid has changed so if you are under 65 you may no longer qualify.

Under 18s at risk also welcome. We cannot vaccinate school children against flu unless they are at risk.

This is NOT a walk in clinic. Appointment only please.

For those who struggle to get in and out of the car please send the carer/friend/relative in and ask for a nurse to go out to the car park.
