Our residents at Wilmslow Manor were absolutely delighted to welcome the wonderful Dean Row Guides for a very special visit this week! 🌸

The girls proudly showed their badges and neckerchiefs, sharing the stories behind each one — and to make the evening even more memorable, they gifted every resident a handmade paracord buddy! 🧵💫

There were smiles all around as generations came together, filling the home with laughter, kindness, and true community spirit. 💕

🎶 Music that Moves the Heart at Grappenhall Manor 🎸

At New Care, we know that music has the incredible ability to lift spirits, spark memories, and bring people together. Recently, our residents at Grappenhall Manor Care Centre in Warrington had a special treat as Al toured the first floor with his guitar, filling the air with familiar tunes and sing-along favourites. 🎵💛

For those who spend a little more time in their rooms, Al’s visit brought a warm and uplifting atmosphere, with one resident sharing, “It’s really made my day that he came to see me.” It’s moments like these that remind us how powerful music can be in enhancing wellbeing and creating connections.

🎀 Ashlands Manor Hosts Successful "Wear it Pink" Fundraiser 🎀

At New Care, we are proud to support causes that make a real difference. This past Sunday, Ashlands Manor Care Centre in Greater Manchester held a "Wear it Pink" fundraiser in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and it was a huge success! 💖

Residents, families, staff, and friends all came together for an afternoon filled with fun, raffles, live music, and plenty of pink! 🌸 Through everyone's incredible generosity, we raised over £550, surpassing last year’s total and helping to support the fight against breast cancer.
Thank you to everyone who participated and made this event so special. Your support is making a real impact! 🩷

Residents from Egerton Manor Care Centre enjoyed a beautiful day out with a Myley trip to Lytham Garden Centre followed by a peaceful visit to Lytham St Anne’s beach.

At the garden centre, we wandered among vibrant displays of plants, flowers, and seasonal décor – soaking in the colours and calm atmosphere. 🌼🌿

Then it was off to the beach, where the fresh sea air and gentle sound of the waves made for a perfect afternoon. We treated ourselves to ice creams by the shore, taking in the stunning seaside views and enjoying each other’s company. 🍦🌊

It was a day filled with nature, laughter, and relaxing moments – creating memories we’ll treasure for a long time. 💛
