DJing season is here!

Next up, I am delighted to be DJing at the Northern Power Women Awards celebration events this year.

The party doesn't stop with the Northern Power Women Awards, and the celebrations continue with the Northern Power Women Roadshow of Celebration events; Leeds this week, Manchester in June and Newcastle in September.

Had a fantastic day pitching at the Founders Factory Children’s Health Accelerator Boot Camp selection day yesterday at Alderhey Children's Hospital , Liverpool.

Real sliding door doors moment for me as it was where I completed part of my doctoral training in the severe learning disabilities team and community CAMHS service. It was so wonderful to be back, and to present in this beautiful building, the Institute in the park…https://buff.ly/45rBEEo

A most excellent day with the Founders Factory team who were extremely warm and inviting, as were the Alder Hey Innovation Team who shared their insights, knowledge and clinical expertise.

Whatever the outcome, it was a fantastic day of learning and networking!

I am so honoured to have been invited to deliver another webinar for LEAD Community Foundation tomorrow (Saturday 5th August). This charity, based in West Africa, is doing great things trying to improve the provision of mental health support and remove the stigma of mental health difficulties. Founder and CEO Kelvin Okeoghene Opiepie is truly inspirational. I recall being struck, during our first conversation, by the staggering facts: for example, in Sierra Leone, which has a population of 8.4 million, there are just 19 psychiatrists!! 🤯

It is hard to ask for help, and if I can support people to make that easier in any way and / or guide them to ways that they can access self-help then I am delighted to do so. I look forward to this workshop and hopefully many more in future!

Numerous factors significantly influence our mental health and contribute to the risk of developing a mental health condition.

Join us this weekend for an enlightening session as we delve into these factors that can impact our well-being.

Our distinguished guest, an expert in the field, will be leading the discussion.

I am so thrilled that I have been appointed as a Trustee for FND Hope UK - Functional Neurological Disorder, an incredible charity supporting children and adults with FND: https://buff.ly/3pUOgVt

I was inspired to do more by the endless stories of people coming for treatment who had been unable to access help via any other means. Delighted to have opportunity to help people to access high-quality information about FND and the support they need.
