Wow. Our first residential synchro camp was a roaring success!! Just 16 swimmers and 3 coaches living and breathing all areas of artistic swimming for a week. What's not to love 😍

We chose Prestfelde for it's easy to reach location in Shrewsbury, stunning grounds and excellent facilities (inc the all important 2.3m deep pool!). What we weren't expecting was the incredible staff at the school who made our stay magical: from the beginning of the process Sarah was efficient and helpful. Nev was on hand during the stay to solve any issues and Earl was Chef was an absolute gift! Freshly cooked food every day with a smile, any special requirements catered for.

On land the swimmers worked on their strength and fitness with , improved sculling technique and flexibility with .

In the pool we spent the morning session refining technique and figures. The afternoon session was all about swimmers creating their own choreography for the final show of the Michael Jackson Medley.

I visited the site for our summer synchro camp in Shrewsbury today to go over safety and other practicalities.

The Prestfelde team are so supportive of the camp and are going to great lengths to make our stay memorable!

2 places have recently become available... I also heard today that we have a special guest joining us on camp 😍

*SUMMER CAMP UPDATE*

Hi all,

Thanks for your patience while I tried to sort out a suitable venue for the summer camp 2025.

I found a lovely school just outside Shrewsbury who have availability 3rd
- 8th August, accommodation, food, a gym and most importantly a pool that's deep enough for synchro!

The lady there has been super patient as we have gone backwards and forwards to get the cost as low as possible.

Unfortunately the 20% VAT that private schools now have to pay has taken the total over the £500, I thought would be reasonable.

£600 for the week (based on 20 swimmers attending) & includes:

Accommodation (Sunday to Thursday)
Lunches and dinners, plus access to a fridge and crockery for breakfast
4 hours per day in the pool
2 hours in the gym

Hi all,

Apologies for not following up on the Residential camp. I had pretty much given up on finding the right venue for 2025 but received an email from a school today confirming that they have a pool that's deep enough and space for us!! 🎉🎉

They are going to confirm costs next week and if that is all OK, we will go ahead.

Dates are:

Arrive: Sunday 3rd August (evening)
Depart: Friday 8th August (evening)
