Platelets within blood plasma contain a large number of growth factors which using state of the art technology we are able to extract. These growth factors then go on to stimulate dormant hair follicles and also produce an increased amount of collagen. This in turn thickens the hair resulting in an attractive full-head of hair.

What’s the process?
⠀⠀⠀⠀
PRP therapy involves taking a blood sample and using a machine to separate the platelets from the blood. Your scalp is fully cleansed and numbed and the platelets are then injected into the scalp where hair thinning and balding is occurring. This treatment is always performed by a doctor.

Clinical research has shown PRP alone to increase mean hair density by 45 hair per square cm - that’s a huge difference when we extend that to the whole scalp. There are none of the risks or downtime of surgery with this treatment. 1. Will I still ‘look like me’ at the end? Yes absolutely, the goal is to never change what makes you individual, only to enhance and rejuvenate your features. We always tailor every treatment to your personal preference to replace lost volume, create extra definition and contour or to simply balance the overall profile.

2. How many syringes will I need for a complete profile rejuvenation? This is a really individual question which depends on the amount of volume loss in the profile. As a guide for a complete profile rejuvenation a minimum of 4mls are needed from our experience. During your consultation we carry out a full assessment and go through this with you.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. Is it painful? The treatment itself takes around 30 minutes and all of the premium dermal fillers we use contain a local anaesthetic to numb the area down. Secondly we use a cannula for the majority of our work meaning only a few injections are ever needed and thirdly we always take our time! So if it feels a little odd we can always take it even slower with the treatment and that’s never a problem.

4. How long do the results last? Results last for 12-18 months depending on individual lifestyle factors. The great feature about dermal fillers is that they stimulate your own collagen production. Areas which have a more rich blood supply or are more mobile (such as the lips) last around 9 months.

5. What’s the downtime with a complete profile treatment? Post treatment there is the possibility of a small amount of swelling (nothing too severe) as the filler settles in. You can carry on with almost all activities with the exception of strenuous exercise, make up, steam rooms/saunas for 24 hours. Asides from this no downtime whatsoever 😊

Our Signature Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty 👨‍⚕️ What’s fascinating about this treatment is that adding filler can actually make the nose appear smaller! The reason behind this is that it creates far more balance as well as a more even light reflection point. Soft precise filler placement combined with a thorough understanding of the underlying anatomy is key as this is a more advanced treatment area. Results last for 12-18 months after which time a small top is needed.

Take a close look at the under eyes in the top photo - the skin around our eyes is the thinnest in the whole face and is one of the first places where the ageing process hits the hardest. With a little filler wizardry we are able to gently rejuvenate and restore a youthful complexion to this area which instantly makes the face appear less tired! Next we worked to restore structure and life to the cheeks and mid face whilst maintaining a natural look (the second part is essential for a successful profile rejuvenation). With very strict instructions for only a subtle jawline definition we added a gentle touch of filler to firm the skin!
