Will an FUE Hair Transplant Hurt?

Pain is subjective and everyone has different pain thresholds. We have had various feedback from patients so to break it down:

1) The only part that is potentially painful is the injection of local anaesthetic. We use REALLY small needles (30G to be precise) to administer these injections so the feedback has been that some have experienced some slight pain whilst others have said it's more of a slight discomfort. As soon as the injections are done, the rest of the procedure is pain free. In fact, some patients actually fall asleep during the extraction phase as they are lay down listening to music.

Across the world, it is reported that 56 million people are currently suffering with symptoms of alopecia and hair loss at this moment in time.

By and large, the most prevalent way in which people suffer with hair loss is through a condition called pattern baldness (androgenetic alopecia). Pattern baldness is a hereditary condition that affects both men and women.

Hair loss can also occur as a result of environmental factors such as: stressful lifestyles, vitamin deficiencies and harsh styling practices. Although, these cases are rarer than pattern baldness and usually only cause temporary hair loss.

If you have concerns about your hair loss, we are here to help. We offer a free, no-obligation consultation so give us a call today on 020 30 262 532.
