Elevate financial leadership in integrated health & social care as we seek our next Director of Finance to drive strategic financial planning and performance across Manchester & Trafford LCOs and the University Dental Hospital Manchester Clinical Group.
💬 Working collaboratively with Manchester City Council and Trafford Council to blend health and social care , you’ll report direct to our Clinical Group Chief Executive, driving financial decisions from the top.
Within this role, you will:
✔️ Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy, ensuring alignment with statutory, contractual, and Trust-level priorities.
✔️ Influence service transformation through robust modelling, scenario planning, and partnership across teams including costing, capital finance, and performance.
✔️ Drive integration across community health, adult social care, and dental services under Section 75 arrangements.
✔️ Champion talent development, high-performance culture, and improvement across financial operations.
What’ll help you shine in this role:
✔️ Proven senior-level leadership in large, complex NHS environments (or similar).
✔️ Fully qualified accountant (CCAB/CIMA) with strong governance, financial modelling, and transformation credentials.
✔️ Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative approach and incisive strategic thinking.
