A little insight into the sports I work in. Starting with Modern Pentathlon..

So what exactly is it?

Modern Pentathlon is an Olympic Sport consisting of 5 events; Fencing, OCR, Swimming, Running & Laser Pistol Shooting. The sport initially included equestrian show jumping but this was removed post Paris Olympics and replaced with OCR.

The sport was first held in 1912 inspired by the traditional Pentathlon held during the ancient Olympics, modelling skills needed by a solider of that time. It has been a consistent sport within the Summer Olympic Games since 1912.

Competitions are held across the world and include a Men's, Women's & Mixes Relay races. The season consists of World Cups, World Cup Final, European Championships & World Championships- all adding to overall World & Olympic ranking points.

In Tokyo Olympics Team GB took home both Men's & Womens GOLD! Now the work has already begun for LA 2028 with GB once again hopefull to be back on the Podium at an Olympic Games 🇬🇧

My first Skeleton & Bobsleigh World Cup. What a week this was 🇬🇧❄️

Incredible effort for absolutely everybody 👏 Congratulations to all athletes on such mega performances. Good luck for the rest of the season ahead of the Olympics 🤍

Pinch myself everyday that im living my career dream working with the best Teams, Athletes & Practitioners in the game. Their trust, support & guidance has been unmatched and im so greatful for the opportunities they provide. We're not there yet but im keeping pushing to reach my ultimate goal of working an Olympic Games. Imposter syndrome is real at times but it can be used as a positive to keep progressing if you allow it to be. I saw someone do a trend on talking to their younger self.... Little Leah would be incredibly proud 🤍✨️

I couldn't do this without the support from my boys, friends & family. Blessed all round 🙏

What's coming up for October.......

I will be away 8th-15th October for a family holiday with my best friend Zara Harrison-Tattersall and her family too! My phone will be off whilst I enjoy some down time and be completely present 🌴

The day after I come home I am straight back out on the road 16th-24th with Skeleton GB for some pre season training in Norway. I'm also tagging on a little weekend catching up with my fave Norwegian in the world ❄️ My phone will be on for the duration of this trip if anyone needs anything.

All clinical appointments are available to book online for anytime around these dates!
