Come join the friendliest GP surgery in Manchester (yes, we’re biased — but it’s true) and fastest growing (that's also true).
The Range Medical Centre in Whalley Range is growing fast, and we’re on the lookout for a brilliant Medical Secretary to help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

📍 What you’ll get:
A supportive, chatty, minimal drama team (just the right amount to keep you entertained 😉
2–5 days/week

📋 What we’re looking for:
Someone ideally with EMIS & Docman know-how, a good sense of humour, and the ability to juggle 17 things calmly while making it look easy. Experience as a medical secretary/administrator within the NHS would be great!

🌟 Join Our Growing Team at The Range Medical Centre! 🌟

We're proud to be the fastest-growing and highest rated practices in Manchester, and we're looking to expand our team further! After welcoming 3 Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACPs) in the last year, we’re excited to invite another talented individual to join us due to our growing patient list.

📍 About Us:
Situated in Whalley Range, The Range Medical Centre serves a diverse community of 12000 patients, primarily English-speaking and a mix of working- and middle-class. We maintain a 60:40 ratio of telephone to face-to-face appointments and enjoy very high levels of both patient and staff satisfaction.

Our dedicated team of approximately 35 includes:

7 GPs
3 ACPs
1 Nurse
2 HCAs
3 Pharmacists
A Physiotherapist

We emphasize training and currently host 5 GP trainees and students. Our open and chatty atmosphere, daily clinical debriefs, and weekly meetings foster a supportive environment. We're committed to staff development, and our approachable GPs are eager to support and work with another ACP.

Heidi AI Consultation
Our admin team handles most Docman workflows, and our pharmacists manage repeat prescriptions.

✨ We Offer:

Salary: £52,000 - £64,000 FTE (dependent on experience)
2-5 days per week with flexible scheduling
One hour of weekly mentorship for 3-6 months if required
6 weeks holiday
1 week study leave
Leadership opportunities

Indemnity paid
NHS Pension
