We are looking to recruit caring, committed and compassionate individuals in the role of Bank Support Worker to provide rehabilitation and support to people with mental health needs.
You will be working in a 24 hour supported mental health rehabilitation service with an emphasis on recovery. You will be supporting individuals to lead independent lives by helping with activities of daily living, such as cooking and budgeting whilst taking advantage of other opportunities such as volunteering, social groups and education.
Previous experience is not necessary as we will provide full induction and training opportunities, however you must have a genuine interest in working with this client group and have the right values to work in a caring environment.
Brief outline of role
Support residents with activities of daily living including, cooking, budgeting skills keeping room tidy and personal hygiene.
Establishing and maintaining relationships with families, friends and other professionals involved in the resident’s care.
Support resident’s day to day to live independent lives and encourage people to maintain healthy active lifestyles
Act as an advocate for the residents where required.
Follow established care plans and evaluate care daily in line with care plans.
Work within and implement established policies and procedures
Complete clerical work as required
Please note that this role is for bank and does require individuals who are able to work days as well as nights. You will be given full training including non mandatory training.
