In one of my Crumpsall Slimming World groups this week, we got to talking about planning.

Lots of us love planning, and absolutely swear by it for helping with our weight loss journeys.

But a significant few had reservations -
"What if I change my mind?"
"What if I don't fancy it anymore?"
"How do I know what I want to eat until I get there?"

There is lots of evidence that decision fatigue is a major contributor to stress. Planning ahead, and sticking to it anyway, can vastly reduce the number of decisions we need to make.

And then today, this quote from James Clear, author of Atomic Habits ( ), popped through into my emails 🥰
