Meet Jhanavi — a physio whose story is all about resilience, growth, and heart.

From being raised in Dubai to moving to India for her studies, every step of her journey meant stepping outside her comfort zone. At Manipal and later in Mumbai, Jhanavi worked across hospitals, rehab centres, and in people’s homes — treating not just conditions, but people, with care tailored to their lives.

Each move, each challenge, shaped her — teaching her adaptability, empathy, and the strength to connect deeply with those she helps.

Her journey reminds us that physiotherapy is so much more than treatment — it’s about transforming lives through movement, compassion, and courage.

Meet Averyl – A Journey of Courage & Growth

Born in Goa, raised in Oman, Averyl’s story is one of resilience, adaptability, and bold choices. After completing her schooling in Oman, she pursued her Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy at Manipal, Karnataka, where stepping out of her comfort zone gave her not just knowledge, but friendships that became family.

With clinical experience in Manipal and Goa, Averyl’s passion for physiotherapy only grew stronger. Her next big leap? Crossing borders once again to the UK, where she’s now pursuing her Master’s in Physiotherapy at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU).

Today, Averyl balances the challenges of adapting to a new country, culture, and academics with grace and determination. Her story is a reminder that every bold step opens new doors to growth and opportunity.

Meet Nidhi
She’s proof that where you start doesn’t define where you can go.

Growing up in Pune, the youngest in the family, she was always compared to her older brother — told to focus on cooking, cleaning, and being the “right kind of girl.” But the day she saw her aunt gently mobilise a patient’s stiff elbow, she found her calling. From that moment, physiotherapy wasn’t just an option — it was her purpose.

In India, she worked her way up to running a clinic almost single-handedly, with patients asking for her by name. But Nidhi wanted more — an experience that would push her beyond her comfort zone. With her brother’s support, she took the leap to the UK.

The move came with its share of battles — financial struggles, culture shock, long nights of study, and adapting to a new healthcare system. But when she returned to hands-on work as an MSK Physiotherapist at the Manchester Movement Unit after just four months away, she felt like she had come home. Those patients, that room, the teamwork — it reminded her exactly why she chose this path.

Today, Nidhi stands as a physiotherapist who not only treats patients but inspires others to take leaps, face fears, and believe in the power of resilience.

Your beginnings don’t limit your possibilities — Nidhi is living proof.

Two MSK physios. One dream. A long way from home.
Kajol and Averyl, both from India, now stand shoulder to shoulder at the Manchester Movement Unit, delivering care, building strength, and proving that hard work truly crosses borders.

From classroom to clinic — they’re not just treating pain, they’re redefining what it means to move with purpose.

“I’ve been the injured athlete, the eldest daughter, the student leader — now I’m the physio who brings it all together.”

Meet Kajol — an MSK physiotherapist with 2.5+ years of experience and a laser focus on spine care.
But her strength goes way beyond clinical knowledge.

📍She grew up on the field — playing, falling, healing, and learning.
📍She knows what it’s like to be the patient before becoming the therapist.
📍She’s the eldest daughter who moved out young and stepped into a parenting role — long before she wore a uniform.

Now at the Manchester Movement Unit, Kajol merges her empathy, skill, and lived experience to help others move pain-free — especially athletes, because she is one.

Oh, and did we mention she served as Sports Secretary during university?
Leadership, teamwork, and movement run in her blood.

“I’m a social soul. I connect through conversation, and I lead with heart. Recovery isn’t just treatment — it’s trust.”

From injury to insight,
From family to physio,
Kajol’s story isn’t just about healing bodies — it’s about building strength from every chapter life throws at you.

“Some people collect stamps — I collect degrees.”
Bachelor’s? ✔️
3-year Master’s in Neuro Physio? ✔️
5+ years of clinical experience in India? ✔️
Still not enough? Definitely not.

Meet Drashti — the academic overachiever who turned every “no” into a new chapter.

After visa delays, rejection emails, and more patience than most people can handle, she finally landed in Manchester.
Now she’s crushing it — pursuing her MSc in Advanced Physiotherapy at MMU and working with the clinical team at Manchester Movement Unit.

And she’s not stopping there.

“I’m thinking of specialising further in neuro and community rehab for older adults next… because why stop at one Master’s?”

She’s not just chasing degrees — she’s building a legacy.
The kind that says: you can be smart, stubborn, and unstoppable — all at once.

More power to you, Drashti. You didn’t just study abroad — you owned it.
