Camping in January isn’t for the faint hearted but neither is addiction - I mean who willingly puts themselves in such dire straits and no matter how their loved ones plead with them - they can’t or won’t stop - I get it - I am a recovering addict - no one pleaded with me to stop - they didn’t understand what was going on - neither did I. In one way or another this illness kills so these camps are here out on the land, in the cold so you will become up close and personal to yourself with the warmth of a fire, a bell tent and people who get you cos they are your mirror - I chose this song for this post cos this was who I was when I was using people, places and things - thank god I’m where I am today - sober and healthy.
