🧚🏼‍♂️ ANNOUNCEMENT 🧚🏼‍♂️

As I hold an advanced level 4 qualification in Sports Massage Therapy it has been announced that we can continue to operate throughout this lockdown (5th November - 2nd December) as we have now been reclassified as essential healthcare.

During this time I will only be taking bookings for clients needing essential treatment. This will be decided through a triage prior to your treatment.

Essential treatments will be deemed necessary on an individual basis but will include help with acute pain, chronic injury and ongoing treatment for medical conditions.

This is great news for everyone who has worked so hard to gain the qualifications and be recognised for the impact we have on not only people’s physical being but their mental being to ❤️

🌺🦋 BUSINESS AS USUAL 🦋🌺 🦠 Following government guidelines extra precautions are now being taken to ensure client health and safety. On top of already strict hygiene procedures before, during and after each appointment, I will now be asking all clients to provide their own towels and will no longer be offering face massages at this time. Massages are limited to a 1hr time frame and I must be informed prior to booking in, if there are any symptoms or health risks. I will continue to monitor the governments advise and continue to take any extra measures. My DM’s are open if you would like a chat regarding any of the above ☺️

I often hear “I have never booked a sports massage cause I don’t know what it is” or “I don’t play any sports can I still book in for a sports massage” 😨 I would say 90% of my clients don’t play any sports at all just regular people who do or don’t attend the gym.. In sports therapy there are a number of techniques we use during your appointment and you may receive little to no actual “massage” at all. Our KEY aim on your appointment is to manage and relieve your aches, pains and injuries because let’s face it nobody likes to feel like crap 😢💩 maintenance is key when looking after your body 😅😍🌸🤩👊🏽 @ Manchester, United Kingdom

Okay so random thought but let’s talk about movement. I had an older client recently who got me thinking - we need to encourage our mums/dads/aunties/uncles/grandparents to move more. Life is no fun when your stiff and in pain cause you haven’t done anything in your life to mobilise your joints and keep your body strong. Luckily I have who is the queen of dharma to keep me funky and flexible and show me drills to open up my body (check her profile for class schedule and 1-1s) and my coach to make sure I’m on job in the gym and moving correctly. 💖🧚🏽‍♀️🏋🏽‍♀️🙅🏽‍♀️🥰 namaste guys keep your bodies in check you only have one 🥳

Tonight we mixed eucalyptus & tea tree essential oils for a super invigorating massage 💆🏽‍♀️🧚🏽‍♀️💫 Client had super tight gluteus and hamstrings which have been bothering her for a while! We made this our focus and finished off by releasing the lower back and hips and now she feels fantastic 🙅🏽‍♀️😆

SUNDAHL DAY 🤪 Dahl is so quick and easy to make and is full to the brim with nutrition. I don’t usually stick to a recipe and just throw in everything with my Dahl but to give you an idea of what goes in here (you can cook in either a pan or a slow cooker)
Red lentils - Water- Turmeric (easy on this it is more for colour than flavour, to much can make it taste chalky stick to half a TSP) - Cumin seeds - Black Mustard Seeds - Olive Oil - Mixed Peppers - Chick Peas - Red Kidney Beans - Sweet Potato -Onion - Fresh Garlic - Fresh Ginger - Fresh Chillie & Chilli Powder - Fresh Coriander (once cooked) and Coriander Powder - Garam Masala - Fenugreek powder - Cinnamon Stick & Salt and Pepper. I think this is everything 😄 it tastes divine and is perfect for keeping you warm full and healthy this winter 🧚🏽‍♀️🌺🧘🏽‍♀️
