Working on feedback from existing and potential customers we have introduced payment plans for TMA training courses.

These six month payment plans are in addition to our current offerings and are available to be applied for by anyone. These are created on an individual basis so contact the training team directly for more information.

Cost wise - a 2% surcharge is added to the overall cost of your course, this fee is what Totem Global Group gets charged for these plans so we don’t make any more if you pay this way.

🧊 Don’t wait for symptoms. Hydrate regularly.
Especially in hot weather, after exercise, or during illness.

🔍 Early Signs of Dehydration (Mild to Moderate):
– Dry mouth or sticky saliva
– Dark yellow urine
– Headache or lightheadedness
– Fatigue or low energy
– Thirst (yes — if you're thirsty, you're already behind!)
– Less frequent urination

🩺 Treatment:
✅ Drink water slowly – don't chug it
✅ Add oral rehydration salts or electrolyte drinks
✅ Rest in a cool, shaded environment
✅ Avoid caffeine/alcohol, which worsen fluid loss

⚠️ Severe Dehydration Signs (Medical Emergency):
– Very dark or no urine
– Dry, cool skin
– Rapid heartbeat or breathing
– Confusion, dizziness, irritability
– Sunken eyes
– Fainting

🚑 Treatment:
❗Seek urgent medical help - go to A&E or call 999
💉 IV fluids may be needed to restore electrolyte and fluid balance
🛏️ Keep the person cool, calm, and lying down while help arrives

Summer brings sunshine, but also serious heat-related health risks. Recognising the difference between heat exhaustion and heat stroke is crucial, especially during heatwaves, outdoor activities, or working in high temperatures.

😓Heat Exhaustion (Still Serious, But Treatable):
This is your body’s early warning system. It happens when you lose too much water and salt through sweating.

Common Signs:
– Body temp between 38–40°C
– Heavy sweating, pale or clammy skin
– Weakness, dizziness, nausea, cramps
– Fast, weak pulse

What to Do:
Get to a cool, shaded place, remove excess clothing, rehydrate, and rest. If symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical help.

🔴 Heat Stroke (A Medical Emergency):
Heat stroke is when the body can no longer regulate its temperature. It can come on fast and be life-threatening.

Danger Signs:
– Body temp over 40°C
– Dry or slightly damp skin, not sweating
– Hot, red skin, throbbing headache
– Confusion, seizures, unconsciousness
– Fast, strong pulse

Immediate Action:
Call 999 or go to A&E
Start rapid cooling: wet the skin, use fans, apply cold packs to neck/groin/armpits.

🧠 REMEMBER:
Heat exhaustion can turn into heat stroke if untreated. Time matters.
When in doubt, treat it as an emergency.

💧 Stay cool. Stay hydrated. Know the signs.
