We are an established and registered Psychotherapy Service in St Ann’s Square, Manchester.
We provide psychotherapy, counselling and psychoanalysis.
We work with adults with a wide range of mental health needs, some looking for short-term therapy, others for longer-term appointments.
People use our service for individual reasons,
• because of life’s big events – a change of status, perhaps brought about by a bereavement, becoming a parent or a change in employment
• because of day-to-day life – troubling patterns of thoughts, feelings and behaviours might have begun to occur
• it can be due to a general mood that’s difficult to put into words
• or symptoms such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, confusion, rage, and trauma
Psychotherapy can be short – sometimes a single session – or last many weeks, explore more on our website
Experienced and Professional
I chair the North West Regional Psychotherapy Association. I bring two years experience as a mental health triagist for a leading Private Healthcare Provider.
My training is in Transactional Analysis, Integrative Psychotherapy and the Psychoanalysis of Freud and Lacan.
I took over the running of Therapy in Manchester nearly 10 years ago. Before then, I was an Art Historian for 20 years, occupying increasingly senior positions within UK universities and working with artists David Hockney and Peter Greenaway.
