People tend to spend the same amount of time training back or legs as they do training their chest or shoulders then wonder why they don't respond the same.
Back and legs are huge muscle groups in comparison to chest, shoulders or arms so surely it makes sense to spend more time training them?
Personally I split back into two sessions, back width and back thickness and I do something similar with legs.
If you have particular muscle groups that are lagging then usually there is a simple explanation behind it
