🌍 Happy Earth Day! 🌿
Today, our little explorers have been busy learning all about our wonderful planet and how we can be its superheroes! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️
We had a packed day of discovery:
📍 Virtual Jet-setting: We used Google Maps to zoom into our favorite familiar spots and then zoomed out to see the map of the whole Earth!
✈️ Island Hopping: After studying pictures of the globe, we took our creativity outside! We drew the sea and some islands and spent the afternoon "island hopping" from one country to another. (If only travel was that fast! )
🏆Sorting for Success: We compared natural objects with man-made products, discussing why it’s so important to protect our green spaces.
♻️ Recycling Rangers: We’ve been learning exactly which bins our rubbish belongs in and, more importantly, why we recycle to keep our oceans and forests clear
🌱 Earth-Grown vs. Man-Made: We got hands-on with our food! We explored apples, carrots, and pak choi to see how they grow from the ground, comparing them to "man-made" food like pasta, bread, and crackers. It was a great way to see how nature feeds us!

Why does it matter? 💚
At this age, learning to keep the Earth "happy" is about more than just chores—it’s about teaching our children empathy for the world they live in. When we keep the Earth happy, we ensure that the animals have homes, the flowers have room to grow, and we have a beautiful, healthy place to play for generations to come.
Small hands can make a big difference! 🌎✨

👐 My Space: Empowering Our Little Ones 👐
We are teaching the children that they are the "boss of their bodies!"
Using our "My Space" rhyme, we’re helping them learn that their body belongs to them and they have the right to say "no" to hugs or hand-holding if they don’t feel like it.
❓️Why it matters:
Teaching body autonomy early builds confidence and helps children respect their own boundaries and the boundaries of others.
We've been helping the children practice asking: "Is it okay if I give you a hug?" It’s all about respect, kindness, and staying safe! 🌟

🐾 Meet the one and only Kenny! 🐾
We thought it was time for a proper re-introduction to our resident "crazy" Cockapoo and all-around character. 🐶✨
Kenny is definitely our self-appointed security guard—he’ll be the first to let you know he’s at the window! 📢 But don’t let the big bark fool you; once you’re inside, he’s actually quite the observer, taking his time to check things out from a distance before saying hello.
Life with the kiddos:
His Space: Kenny is a pro at finding his own "bubble" in the room while the children play.
Circle Time: He’s a regular attendee! He loves sitting with us during group activities. 🧘‍♂️
The Favorites: If there is water play or bubbles involved, Kenny is 100% there. It’s his absolute favorite part of the day! 🫧💦
We also make sure he gets his "me time." Kenny has his very own section of the garden where he can go for a peaceful break whenever he (or the kids!) needs a little breather. 🌳💤
We love our quirky, bubble-chasing boy! ❤️

🌟 Empowering Kind & Confident Children! 🌟
We believe children should feel brave and friendly, but also stay safe! That’s why we teach our "Safety Backpack" program—a positive, modern alternative to "stranger danger."
🎒 What is a Safety Backpack?
It’s a set of "superpower" rules our children carry everywhere to help them navigate the world with confidence:
✅ The "Check First" Rule: Whether a friend asks them to move to a different play area or they meet someone new, children learn to always Check First with their grown-up. This ensures they are never "missing" and always within their safety net.
✅ Spotting "Tricky People": We teach that safe adults ask other adults for help, not children! We empower children to listen to their "tummy feelings"—if they feel nervous or unsure, they know to find their safe person right away.
We use fun rhymes and posters to make these lessons stick.
We are proud to help our children grow into kind, social, and safety-smart individuals!

🌿 A Week of Planting! 🌿
What a busy, green-fingered week we’ve had! Our little gardeners have been diving into the world of seeds and sprouts with so much curiosity. Here is a look at our "Week of Planting" highlights:
Wildflower Wonders: We explored a mix of wildflower seeds, picking our favorite colors and noticing how every seed has its own unique shape and size! 🌸
Giant Sunflowers: We used our "pincher fingers" (tweezers) to carefully plant sunflower seeds in giant pots to take home. This was great for our fine motor skills! 🌻
Predicting Growth: We checked our pots and had some very tall guesses about how big our plants will grow—some think they’ll reach the clouds! ☁️📏
Strawberry Magic: We chopped fresh strawberries and planted them in egg boxes, and also opened a packet of tiny strawberry seeds to see the difference. We can’t wait to see if they turn into plants! 🍓♻️
Lifecycle Experts: We’ve been studying the plant lifecycle, practicing our memory to see if we can recall exactly how our tiny seeds turn into big, strong plants. 🔄🌼
Our garden is off to a flying start!

🔍✨ CALLING ALL MYTH & MAGIC MANAGERS! ✨🔍
Have you ever seen something "viral" online and wondered… is that actually real? 🤔
After our Science Week adventures (and a very mysterious frozen grape experiment that didn’t quite go to plan!), we’ve decided to become digital detectives! We are officially launching our Myth & Magic Managers club! 🐉🪄
What are we doing?
In a world of "viral hacks" and "internet magic," we want our children to be critical thinkers. Instead of just believing what they see on a screen, our mini-investigators will be putting those claims to the test!
Our Mission:
✅ To ask: "Is it a myth, or is it magic?"
✅ To use hands-on science to find the truth.
✅ To build the "questioning muscles" needed for the digital age.
✅ To have a total blast while doing it!
We need YOUR help! 📱
If you’ve seen a creative reel, a "life hack," or a science trick online that looks too good to be true, send it our way! Comment below or message us with the links. We will add them to our "Case Files" and let the children investigate to see if they really work.
As our Managers say:
"We seek the truth, we test the trick, we find the facts and make them stick!" 🕵️‍♂️🧪
Let the investigations begin!
