Sophie's Little Stars - Childminder

Rosh Hashanah to all those that celebrated. We loved joining in!
We visited the Manchester Jewish Museum where we were given a tour, looked at the lovely windows and read a story by Rick who works there.
We made our own stain glass windows on paper and windows, the colours were so pretty.
We looked at our Hebrew congregation and Whitefield Shul
We played the shofar which we could make go very loud!
We went to pick apples locally and then came back to try apple and honey!

Today we recieved a response from our birthday cards sent to King Charles!

It was sad to see these frogs go but we took them to the local schools Early Years unit and after showing the children they put them in their pond 🐸

Happy St Partick day, today we...
-printed green objects to see what shapes they left
-tried colcannon for dinner
-played in green water using our phonics to match the first sound
-made apple cake and enjoyed it for dinner time pudding

Introduce toothbrushing early so that children know it as part of their daily routine. Children will need help and encouragement to develop this new skill over time.
A dentist visit should be booked when your baby's first tooth comes through and then every 6 months for a check up!

Happy St David's Day. We celebrated last week by using daffodils to mark make in yellow and ate pasta in leak sauce! We also dances to some Welsh music 🎶
