With many years of experience injecting under my belt, these are the 5 biggest lessons aesthetics has taught me 🤍
When I first started in aesthetics, I thought it was all about technique.
Over time, I’ve realised it’s about so much more than that.
1️⃣ Safety always comes first
No trend, pressure, or financial incentive should ever compromise patient safety. Strong anatomical knowledge, continuous training, and knowing when to say no are essential. They protect both your patients and your reputation.
2️⃣ Natural will always win
Overfilled isn’t timeless. The goal is balance, subtlety and a refreshed appearance. I specialise in natural enhancements because confidence should look effortless, not obvious.
3️⃣ Communication is everything
The best results start with listening. Understanding concerns, managing expectations and building trust is just as important as the treatment itself.
4️⃣ Not every client is the right client and that’s okay
Healthy boundaries matter. The right clients will value your expertise, respect your advice and trust your judgement.
5️⃣ Growth never stops
Even after many years in aesthetics, I’m still learning. New techniques, new products and new perspectives keep you evolving. Staying humble and open to learning is what keeps you relevant.
It’s never just about faces.
