Qigong for 10 days with .yogaqigong on the beautiful island of Koh Samui.

A highlight for me was visiting the elephant sanctuary. As a vegan I’m always a little reluctant to visit animals, but this place was absolutely fantastic. Rescuing elephants from logging, shows and tourist riding. The sanctuary is doing great work in educating tourists and the people of Thailand about elephant welfare and it was an absolute pleasure to be in their company 🐘

I have added dates for Friday night Qigong Yoga Sangha Cheadle up until summer. The class runs from 6-7pm.

March 8th and 22nd

July 19th and 31st

The class is suitable for beginners and comprises of meditation, gentle flows, visualisations all whilst learning wisdom and knowledge from Chinese medicine and the five elements.

What is Qigong?

- Qigong is a broad term that encompasses thousands of years of Chinese practises including movement, breathing, visualisations, and meditation. Qigong is practised as a medical support to people’s wellbeing.

Is the class suitable for beginners?

- Absolutely! This class is suitable for beginners, and incorporates gentle, flowing movements to help reduce stress and help with qi (energy) flow.

What can Qigong do for me?

- Qigong is wonderful for balance, alleviating joint pain and creating mobility, improves both inner and physical strength, it is a moving meditation and can help reduce stress levels, will challenge and improve your coordination and encourages us to be in harmony with the natural world and the elements

A bit about the doctor and her clinic…
‘The clinic has been founded by Dr Zoe Hodson (she/her) who is a GP with a Specialist Interest in Menopause. She has been a GP for over 20 years after qualifying from the University of Birmingham in 1996. She has always taken a keen interest in female health and particularly those who feel that they have not been listened to or taken seriously in regard to their health.’
